If he's coming in, I do want to know what his overall plan is and for how long.

All well and good the club wanting him. But id rather know what he wants to offer us.

I'd imagine he would be quite open in that respect.

After his recent "stints" at Hull and Watford, the onus is on him really to grab a job and put all he has into it, with a view to it being for the longer-term.

It's a risk for both him and Everton if it happens, he can't afford another short-lived stay at a club and I really doubt that he'll be able to make enough of an impact over a short space of time to allow a club further up the food chain to come sniffing. He would need to make a sensational impact for that to happen. Perhaps he may be capable of it over the course of a three-year contract, who knows.

I think he probably wants us more than we want him at the moment, but it does appear to be like a marriage of convenience for both sides. I still think he'll come here on the basis that Fonseca turns us down. We are not blessed with a luxury of options whatever way you look at it.

EVERYONE is a risk. Wenger, Emery, Silva, Fonseca, hell, even Simeone would be a risk. Look at what we have in our squad, I can't even figure out what a manager could do to get this team playing well with this group.
Its the DOF who has gotta come in an sort that out I reckon, DOF will be on the board to pick new manager too I reckon.

Of course he is a risk, who amongst the people who would be willing to come to us would not the classed as a risk. He wouldn't be my first choice. However he is the type of manager I want to see at the club in that he is young, he should be looking to establish himself in the game thereby having a stake in how things go. I hope he is capable of getting enough success to allow him the time and space to develope both himself and the team.
I am hoping that with a better squad and more buying power he can improve significantly on what he has done so far at Watford and Hull.
He provides some hope in that he wil be new to us and in that respect he is better than Allardyce, provided he is the next manager of course. The longer it takes to announce the less likely it is to be him as things should have been in place for a while as there are no complications with other clubs.

Very much a
I wouldn't be against Howe, he's proved to be a very good premier league manager, but any of them to imo would be a decent fit for us. I just don't want no more dinosaur thinking managers like Sam and to a degree Koeman, there managerial heads are still in the 80s, the games moved on a very long way since then.
greed mate, I want Everton to move on from dinosaurical methods that Sam and Moyesy bring

Think if silva does come in could see him helping some of the young players coming through lookman holgate davies ect would be strange if he didnt come considering how much we where prepared to pay

I doubt he's laid low so long and avoided any association with other posts without there being good reason.

And if he was chosen by Moshiri it'd at least give us some hope that the feller isn't as flaky as many of us believe. Surely his determination to employ Silva hasn't dulled that much in 6 months?
