I think he may struggle too. Even before he went to City with all their riches to buy who they wanted, the teams he did well with in Spain, had far more quality in them than West Ham does. He had players like Riquelme, Godin, Cazorla, Isco, Joaquin, Toulalan to name a few. He'll have a hell of a job on his hands at West Ham.

West Ham have a few nice players, but they have a terrible defence that needs ripping apart to begin with. There is a lot to do there.

even in spain, he did well with Villarreal, but bombed at Real, and then had success with a middle east funded Malaga

hes deffo guna struggle, I didn't want him anywhere near us

We have to go for someone other than Silva for manager if we want to go to that next step and start pushing for the top 6.

His last job makes me weary he is the guy,he had a shambles of a terrible run for months without winning, what if he has one of those here it would write off the season.

West ham have pulled off a coup getting Pellegrini, the guy is a top class manager, his teams from River Plate,Villareal,Real Madrid,Malaga and City played amazing attacking football.

I hope our board can be bold and pull a manager of some class out of the blue to make everyone notice.

Silva would be such a meh appointment.

Crying at you

Excellent man manager? Come on mate that's a ridiclouse thimg to say, if he had any man management skills Watford players wouldn't of down tools when he did, and to try and say he isn't disloyal is daft when you look at the amount of teams he has been through as both a player and a manager, if it was just one or two you might be able to say it was the club, but not that many.

As for the Arteta shout that's only as an alternative if we can't get a winner at a high kevel, be a much better choice hen Silva. We seem to be going for the last resort first.
Except Silva was always the first resort, even after Watford threw their toys out of the pram.

The job was promised to him at the end of the season, that didn`t change.

Why do you think he hasn`t had a club since he got the boot from Watford.

Whinge all you want, he was always the number one choice ;)

In that case I hope he has spent his time wisely analysing the team and figuring out what to do with them

Of course he has, why do you think rumours about the likes of Baines going to the MLS are starting to circulate. ( I`m not saying he`s going by the way ).

The broom will be poised and ready to start sweeping.
