So he swapped clubs a lot, not all are his fault, Premier league the biggest league in the world and he about to join a founding member or both the league and premier league, he won’t be jumping any time soon... give the bloke a chance.

O i will for sure give him a chance when he comes, which I do think he will, I will be %100 behind him, but i just dont think we should still be going for him now and not even talking to anyone else, but ill back him once here just like i did Rooney, Bolasie, Williams...etc its part of supporting the team.

He won the league with a minted Man City. I think he'll struggle with a basket case club like West Ham, but you never know - look at Ranieri at Leicester!

I think he may struggle too. Even before he went to City with all their riches to buy who they wanted, the teams he did well with in Spain, had far more quality in them than West Ham does. He had players like Riquelme, Godin, Cazorla, Isco, Joaquin, Toulalan to name a few. He'll have a hell of a job on his hands at West Ham.

West Ham have a few nice players, but they have a terrible defence that needs ripping apart to begin with. There is a lot to do there.

We literally got rid of our CEO, manager and DoF in the space of 20 hours, replacing two of the three and reshuffling the entire structure of the club.

You look at the next manger thread and you will see I am not the only querying the time this is taking!

The Echo making out we're looking at other candidates than Silva with probably the same level of determination and commitment I consider other candidates than my missus when we're n town before she catches me looking.

The Echo are just building us up to knock us down again when Silva signs, watch them run a story about how we tried for other managers but they said no

Look at the thread I mentioned.

I have.

I'm not worried at all, especially by a tweet comparing us with the mighty West Ham, who are paying Pellegrini £10m per-year.

We'll get it done. It hasn't taken ages - it's been five days even though I'm sure contact was made prior to that.

Maybe we are just assessing some other alternatives, just in case it all goes tits up again? Isn't that what most of Silva's detractors have been saying as well?

If it isn't done in a week, I'll be worried. But I'm confident it will be. I'm pretty confident it'll be done this week.

Ill be shocked if it isnt done this week... I see no rational explanation why it wouldn't be if am honest.

We have to go for someone other than Silva for manager if we want to go to that next step and start pushing for the top 6.

His last job makes me weary he is the guy,he had a shambles of a terrible run for months without winning, what if he has one of those here it would write off the season.

West ham have pulled off a coup getting Pellegrini, the guy is a top class manager, his teams from River Plate,Villareal,Real Madrid,Malaga and City played amazing attacking football.

I hope our board can be bold and pull a manager of some class out of the blue to make everyone notice.

Silva would be such a meh appointment.

All this "We will get another one if it does,nt work out" just commits us to repeating cycles of resets for the long term future of the club.

there is also the argument that at 64 years old after having been at so many clubs and most recently working in the retirement home that is Chinese football that Pellegrini has retired to London and will pass his days at West Ham while other clubs with younger energetic managers pass them by even more.

Now that Wenger has retired the average age of the better manager is far closer to fifty than sixty.
