Marco Silva

Slva is known for working his squad very hard during pre season so they are quick out of the blocks come the new season. After watching some of the durge on display by BFS it would appear that quite a few of the squad could do with intense sessions to get them ready to go again.

However, I hope whoever takes the Head Coach role understands that will be required.

If there are complications with still trying to get Silva, then Everton should just move on and steer well clear. Getting caught up in a dispute and the possibility of having to pay a scummy sack the Manager every year club like Watford a load of money for employing a Manager that they sacked would be absolute insanity on Everton's part. It would be Everton to a tee to make another bollox of it all and have a completely unnecessary prolonged saga. They haven't got time for all that tossing about now. Need to concentrate on getting an uncomplicated and available Manager and get him installed as soon as possible.
Realistically there are no complications. Silva had a 1 year contract with another 1 year option apparently. He is in dispute over the £750k he is due for the second part of his 1 year contract which Watford are refusing to pay him (hardly shocking news given their owners). If he starts for us now that could only effect a month of that claim, say £150k. Given that he'll earn that in less than 2 weeks with us I can't see that being a huge issue.

The ongoing dispute is between Silva and Watford. It will be nothing to do with us and I can't see that there is any way it would stop Silva joining us immediately if we offered him the job.

Remember when RK arrived with his taskmaster of a fitness coach. We all jumped for joy we were getting someone to knock the loafers into shape.
Still waiting.

Gonna take weeks to agree a deal with an unemployed manager that wanted to join us in November. WEEKS. Then it's the World Cup and we're not allowed to appoint managers or sign players during that, don't forget. Fully expect us to go into pre-season without a manager.

There are no exciting candidates around. If Silva joins, I'll give him my backing, but he has everything to prove.

BOOOOOOO!!!
Binning Fat Sam for Marco Silva on a 4 year contract. FOUR ******** YEARS!!!!..
He'll have bottled it by Christmas, even half the Hull players think he wasn't up to it and they got a good couple of months out of him.
PATHETIC.

BOOOOOO!

Even though Silva is the front runner, I seriously think we should go for Löw

You might say "Why would he come here" but think about it, if he wants a job in England who of the top 8 are likely to offer him a deal? The main one I can think of is Arsenal, but I've heard no rumblings that they're looking at him. The next team after them that would appeal to him are us

What has he shown us as Germany manager?
He's shown us that he likes a project, he plays attractive football, he can win things and that he promotes youth

What do we as fans generally want?
We want a long term option who will having us play good football, we want someone who has won things and we want someone who will make the most of our great youth set up

What will he want?
An ambitious club with good youth facilities who will both back him in the transfer market as well as giving him time to succeed and adapt to club football again, whilst also being in a big league where he can pit his skills against other top managers

And to top it off, Liverpool have Klopp, who I'm sure he'd like to get one over on

Seriously, we would mesh together really well

It's honestly worth a go. The least the club could do is sound him out over it. We have a DoF to sign players anyway, so the fact he has a World Cup to focus on isn't that much of a detriment

We need to believe this could happen, because I honestly think it could
