Watford. I assume he is still under contract. In a lot of cases removing a manager doesn't just cut all ties hence why we are still paying Koeman whilst he is Netherlands manager.

Watford removed Silva from his position. If they are still paying him (and the word I heard is that they are not and he is in dispute with them over it) it's because HE is entitled to it under his contract. If it was Silva who walked away the situation would be reversed as Watford would then be the party entitled to compensation. That agreement finishes this month as, although there was a 2 year contract, there was also a break clause at the end of this season when either party could walk away.
