See I can understand Watford fans been like that towards him but not us.ok he’s not the man for the job we know that but no need for any personally hatred towards him let’s be honest if we had beat Norwich none of these posts would be said.he needs to go for football reasons but he’s done nothing wrong to hate him on a personal level
Fully agree , I despise his lack of adaptability and his non-tactics but he seems like a stand up bloke who wanted to better himself . He is way over his head but why should he walk away from a fortune in compo ?
I wouldn't .

If he was going to be sacked, I honestly believe it would have been done now. He's in the job for the next two games. I doubt we will see him at Goodison again unless we win at Anfield. The board have made an absolute mess of this and to the point where they are now throwing him under the bus as well. I'm starting to feel sorry for Marco now because Saturday night he should have left and the board are now humiliating him

Spot on.its now like dragging him through personal torture with them 2 games and then sack him anyway.his only hope is a descent result and performance in both games and let’s face it not gonna happen.

As much as I dont like the bloke its harsh the way the board are dragging this out.

Either back him publically or get rid.

Maybe that’s why it is dragging, because he hasn’t been there since the initial meeting on Saturday, the board could have been going back and forth on a replacement but not wanting to fire Silva via conference call

Spurs and City were nowhere near the le

top six out of ontext.

City took ages to be any real power and many of those wins would have been against the likes of Sven and what not.

Spurs we were level with for many years until they kicked on recently.

Spurs were in the Champions League in 2010 and Uefa Cup / Europa League regulars as back as far as 2006.

Granted, City only started to become a top team from 2010 onwards, so much of the results against City as a 'top team' could possibly be discounted.

However, as has rightly been pointed out by @Saint Domingo, you have to balance that with the strength of the Arsenals, United's and Chelsea's that Moyes faced compared to the relatively mediocre versions we've seen of all three in recent seasons.

The board proved they had given up on success on the pitch when they didn't act after Sheffield United.

So I'm not one bit surprised at this debacle and the attempt to carry on like nothing has happened. They deserve the criticism and the finger pointing as much as the manager and players. A culture comes from the top and they only care about stadiums and pound signs.

There is literally no point sacking him with the run of fixtures in December. He normally sets up the team well against 'better' teams whereas any manager coming in is screwed with that fixture list.

It will be interesting to see what happens with the Liverpool fixture. Our fortunes last year were very much linked with those performances.

I’m honestly convinced that he’s a Portuguese Second division level manager who with a foreign name and blind luck blagged himself into the PL. He will never manage anyone remotely good ever again that’s for sure.

Not if the players aren't playing for him. If they know he is going to be sacked why try hard

I agree except for the last point

why do you feel sorry for him? I feel sorry for us fans as he's humiliated us most weeks this season
