See I disagree. The new guy would be under no pressure as we all expect 2 defeats, possibly heavy ones. There would be more pressure on a "easy" home game as we would all expect the new manager bounce. Getting someone in now has a chance, albeit a very small change of being an instant hero by beating the RS (I know, very very small chance)

True but I think keeping him until the end of December is the best option purely because that is the least destructive path.

If we replace him now it's a terrible fixture list for a new manager and the potential new manager 'bounce' will probably be negated by the quality of opposition we face. I don't trust any of the potential manager names being mentioned to be able to pick up wins in December, except perhaps Benitez.
