Looks like he's getting the Leicester and derby games to get a result.

I dont get the impression the club want to sack him if they can avoid it.

That's right. He is part of the 'project' and if they sack him and bring in Moyes or similar the project is cancelled. Incidentally, Dave, the more I look in to all this the more I agree with you over Brands. A large number of his signings are either not ready to play or injury prone, and he failed big style in the summer when a ready made striker and a centre back were needed. Also if he is now saying that 'none of the targets on his manager list are available' it must be a very poor list. Everton should be straight in and offer Poch a top salary and money to spend in January and the summer. Thats the sort of investment that will bring a return, particularly with more of the deadwood ending contracts in the summer.

So there going to sack him after the the next 2 games that’s what they mean, because realistically we will lose both by form and history. So the club don’t look like fools sacking him now haha. They have already made a mess leaving it late to announce sticking with him with all the speculation. They are lucky the next 2 games are away and not at home, I feel otherwise they would of sacked him based on the reaction from the fans after the 2nd goal went it.

Truly unbelievable decision to let him stay. Really can't wrap my head around the thinking of leaving him in charge for two extra weeks just cos.

This is an important point really. We look a complete shambles and managers will rightly be very put off.

From the start Moshiri has made a critical mistake not replacing the infrastructure that preceded him. My concern is his investment was tied to a myth given to him by Bill Kenwright that if Bill had more money to spend Everton would be a top 4 club.

There is little unity at board level which just looks a recipe for disaster to me.

The decent thing for Bill would be to offer his resignation at a convenient moment, and allow Moshiri to get his own man in as Chairman. I suspect such a selfless act is beyond Kenwright though.

It was a conditional "takeover" all along. It cannot ultimately work with two camps having different ideas on things. We already have had DBB promoted from within the Kenwright camp and Brands appointed by Moshiri.

Moshiri owning 77% of the equity is irrelevant as he has been unable to appoint his own Chairman and CEO.

I can foresee an inevitable and more serious split if this continues akin to Paul Gregg and Trevor Finch stepping down from their respective roles previously.

Nobody with any clout from industry would want to join this board. It seems highly political with people failing to provide leadership and avoiding conflict by staying firmly within their own personal realms and comfort zones.

I should have realised by now that why be optimistic with us i always get let down, so we give him another game get beat then what pathetic im more angry at the board than silva now as its there fault he hasnt gone

Yes this sums it all up quite well to me. There are two distinctive camps, with different values and aspirations, as well as ideas of how to get there.

In moments of difficulty those difference are very plain to see. They also hold the club back.

I really fear for the club if it is not resolved. You can only hope Kenwright has some clause in the deal that at some point will allow him to be moved on, and that Moshiri is not still of the belief this approach can ever lead to success.
