The blithering idiots who run this club are like the wizard of OZ after the curtain is removed. This whole Silva pantomime completely exposed to everyone for the incompetent charlatans they are. All the blues who buried their heads in the sand along fans of other clubs and the media now see the truth, and the truth is that we're one of the most badly run clubs in the whole sport.

No other club worth spit would of allowed Silva to remain in the job after these recent results. No other club worth spit would voluntarily walk into the two inevitable maulings that are coming our in the next eight days. We are run by the biggest losers in football.

That's right. He is part of the 'project' and if they sack him and bring in Moyes or similar the project is cancelled. Incidentally, Dave, the more I look in to all this the more I agree with you over Brands. A large number of his signings are either not ready to play or injury prone, and he failed big style in the summer when a ready made striker and a centre back were needed. Also if he is now saying that 'none of the targets on his manager list are available' it must be a very poor list. Everton should be straight in and offer Poch a top salary and money to spend in January and the summer. Thats the sort of investment that will bring a return, particularly with more of the deadwood ending contracts in the summer.
Read the Times piece today Steve, it's damning on Brands.

The issue here is if Silva does well I'm his next 2 games does he get another chance.

With the injuries and morale of the squad that won't be happening. I think the issue is when he does badly in both does he get another chance after that? Worried the answer is yes.

You surely cant be familiar with his time with us...
Yeah I know it didn’t finish well but we are talking a long time ago. People are banding about Benitez name I don’t think he struck any great affinity with us in his time at Liverpool. Point taken though

Point taken to be fair he did [Poor language removed] on us. I’m just at a loss presently and I haven’t in the managers banded about. I’m not convinced by the Rafael shout. Simply because he’s not exactly been complimentary about us and I just wonder whether he would instill passion in the team taking into account his Liverpool connection. As for Moyes, Arteta and Howe non of these fill me with confidence either.
