Looks like he's getting the Leicester and derby games to get a result.

I dont get the impression the club want to sack him if they can avoid it.

We won't win either, presumably this buys some time to approach a new manager.

The issue here is if Silva does well I'm his next 2 games does he get another chance.

You only hope that his continued retention, in the short term at least, means that there's stuff actually going on behind the scenes regardless. At the very least we should be avoiding another Allardyce situation were it tooks us 6 weeks to appoint him following Koeman getting the chop.. truly baffling the more I actually think about that.

Two things are saving Silva right now:

1. The next two league games are away from Goodison;
2. The distinct lack of a seemingly 'quick' solution ala his replacement.

I would take a punt on Slaven Bilic, he’s got West Brom top of the league. Played at the top internationally. I would prefer him to Howe who in my opinion would be like a Silva Mk 2. Bournemouth are on a losing streak and are 1 point above us.

Im genuinely considering binning Everton off. It's not brought me almost any joy in years. I can't even tell you the last match I watched thinking "yeah, that was fun!".

It's clear the club cares not one bit about it's future, why should any of us?

The club currently reminds me of both Aston Villa and Sunderland in the years before they suffered relegation.

There is a sense that the board and players don't care. Eventually a large section of fan's will follow suit. Fans don't typically just stop supporting their club, but they do spend less time and money on them.
