He's never been the most extrovert character... What was the difference? And what was the occasion for Sky to be there?
True,
I think Sky are just "gloating" at the disarray at Everton in the guise of sports journalism!

Leicester are the most overrated team in Europe. They've already rode the hot streak long enough that they'll probably hit top 4 but they will not ride this forever. If only we had finished above them for the last 3 years and spent 2.5 times what they have in that period to improve, perhaps we wouldn't be in a position where we're miles behind. I got battered for posting this in July.
And I got back.....
On reflection it looks like I sold Leicester short.
Nobody is saying that Silva isn't at least partially to blame. He is absolutely culpable.
But he's not wholly responsible for this mess, that's the point. Brands, Moshiri and, for the most part, the players have to shoulder a big chunk of blame between them too.
Yeah I am mate, senior players still at the club, Jags was a fuking awful Captain, one of worse in our history constantly talked us down and Coleman’s or Sigi no better. Colemans... “we own the fans we will put more effort in and it won’t happen again” statement that the club releases every 2 weeks is patronising an sound like what a wife beater says every time after He hit herThat's Moyes fault?
Just read the last sentence you wrote...
You're actually blaming Moyes, Coleman, Baines and Kenwright for that?
One Vardy injury away from collapse. He’s that important to them and they have no back up anywhere near his level or in a similar type to him.Leicester are the most overrated team in Europe. They've already rode the hot streak long enough that they'll probably hit top 4 but they will not ride this forever.
The squad isnt good enough to break the top 4, IMO.
That's a bold statement. One for the vault.
Fully agree. We have a squad(when all fit) on par with West Ham and wolves etc (teams fighting for 7th). The squad overall quality is better than the 3 recently promoted. However we have been managed poorly with tactical/personnel selection suicides going on weekly. The squad isnt good enough to break the top 4, IMO.
But anybody who convinces themselves that it belongs in 16th and doesnt have enough quality to beat Sheff Utd and Norwich at home should probably consider another sport.
Now take out Ndidi, Madderson and Tielemans with injuries and where are Leicester? 15/16 maybe?Issue he has is that the 2 cms he has left arent able to create (Davies / Schneiderlin)...
Then going wide to Walcott / Richarlison neither are creators.
The squad ia really limited.
Youre actually slating a manager for being a mercenary (walking away from a contract at Watford) when he has not shown any such characteristics.
Certainly he didnt walk away from Watford.
So youre either uninformed or just telling porky pies.
As for the South American player comment, perhaps you should stick to understanding things before posting about them lol
Rodgers has Vardy + Madisson, Ndidi, Tielemans in the centre.
As i was saying to the leicester fan @FOXINPEACE before the season those 4 are better than any of our players in the same positions.
When you have no centre midfield and kids up front is a different timeframe for success.
Totally agree with the stats. Cant hide behind them.
Imagine that we HAD to keep Silva for the duration of his contract, what would he need to do to get the team going?
For me no one would offer great improvement without new players.
Sheff United are doing brilliantly yet are counted on here as a walkover.
We would be on 19pts in 5th but for VAR.
Who would be complaining then?
Martinez i think is a manager who needs players who are at the top level and suit his system.
Koeman is a manager who suits effectively a part time role for Holland where the players think hes a legend.
Silva I look at it 2 ways:
A: Huge mitigating circumstances (rebuild / injuries / form / VAR / didnt sign the players he wanted / bad luck)
B: Who can we get that is better....this is more of a question which will be partially answered with the next appointment.
So i see everything has gone against him and now the fans + the board are slating him leaving him in a kind of limbo.
Would i swap him for a top manager, of course.

I'm by no means a Silva fan, I never wanted him at this club to begin with but the way this club has treated him in the last week is noting short of a disgrace.
The total lack of dignity from the people at the top of Everton is shameful.

His whole reign for me is summed up with the defensive set piece issue. It’s been known for well over a year we struggle to defend them. I still don’t get why he hasn’t fixed this. It’s little things like this which the good tactically astute managers fix or improve on.Look Big watch has been very unlucky.
The VARs, the injuries to key players, but getting utterly spanked at home by a team who hadnt won for 6months has nothing at all to do with luck.
That is true. But I just think performance wise there isn't much between 4 and 14 and they've been the team in that group that has caught the breaks. One Vardy injury away from collapse. He’s that important to them and they have no back up anywhere near his level or in a similar type to him.
I know it's hard to admit but the RS backline is damn good. Not even close.
They've got the best defence in the division for a start.
