Didn’t we hire a director of football to take these kind of decisions out of the hands of fools like Moshiri Kenwright and DBB? What’s he done so far to manage this mess?
I see a manager practically waiting for the chop and they wont end his misery.

They have no morality. Brands, Kenwright, Moshiri (DBB I cant even get mad at because she's such a nonentity): they have no honour.

The traditional 'Vote of Confidence' would be horrible though - I expect something sophisticated and powerful.
If 4 successive managers can't take this big next step up (From safe top 8 to top 4/6 then definitely we have a problem with our club's culture or executive/ top level organisation.
We won't get anything sophisticated though, as we can now see more and more evidence of how badly our club is run, but I was hoping DBB and Brands would be taking over more and not leaving it to Moshiri and Kenwright. Kenwright - Ferguson - Jeffers - Unsworth represent this old fashioned thing of bringing in ex-players just to create a cosy, family environment, and there must be loads of people behind the scenes like this, and Brands represents a more forward thinking approach to what we might do in the future. It seems even more clear now that the four of them - Kenwright, Moshiri, BarrettBaxendale & Brands all have a very different approah and it may be causing tension.
Shot in the dark based on nothing, but if we're not improving, and there are no statements then what do we do?

Leicester - apart from their freak title win - are a good model, so are Tottenham (Up to the end of last season), and even Atletico Madrid, Red Bull clubs. Put aside the clubs with massive income, and we have some really good models for how you can grow in the modern era.
Our model is to let a clueless owener who knows f.a. about football back seat drive; employing woefully inadequate people around him he can by-pass.

He's our Jesus Gil or Sam Hammam.

I'm ok with Silva managing the derby. If the players are really playing for him then they can show it by getting a result. If however we get the hammering we are expecting then i hope to god that we have a decent manager lined up for Saturday. Go all out for Pochettino, if not i would be ok with Benitez, don't care about his history, only care about what's best for Everton.

....I presume Moshiri has the final say and I dare say Kenwright throws his twopenneth in, but I also presume the DoF plays the critical role in identifying candidates. Walsh presided over Allardyce and Silva, although as I recall Brands was asked if he objected to Silva.

i would hope Moshiri realises he has a limited football knowledge.
