It probably doesn't matter now Silva getting the derby.

You could make an argument to give it to Duncan, but I think he should go too.

I expect further dithering and it would be stupid asking Ferguson to potentially be in charge for more than the derby.

I still think it will be Moyes in on Thursday as bringing anyone else in requires forward planning and thought.

Fail to prepare, prepare to fail.

Do people still at this point think we havent considered that maybe Silva will be gone soon?

....I presume Moshiri has the final say and I dare say Kenwright throws his twopenneth in, but I also presume the DoF plays the critical role in identifying candidates. Walsh presided over Allardyce and Silva, although as I recall Brands was asked if he objected to Silva.

i would hope Moshiri realises he has a limited football knowledge.
That's not the way it looks to me.

He's a meddler. He cant help himself making executive decisions...even though he hired two people as DoF to do that for him.

He's a huge problem for Everton.

I don't blame Silva nearly as much as I blame the board. Silva's doing all he can and it just isn't good enough. He didn't hire himself nor is he the one delaying the inevitable.
If your Brands and you don't have anyone you want to bring in, do you cave in a get another form of mediocrity, or do you hold your nerve and cop what flack may come your way.
I know which type of fella I'd want in charge.

doesn't really make sense that

you don't blame silva as much as the board because he's not good enough

what if the board aren't good enough? who do we blame them

everyone is to blame on this, the board, recruitment, silva, the coaches and the players

The buck stops with the administration/board for the club's performance, not Silva.

I think we may see stories about Eddie Howe starting to surface more frequently now , of course that does depend on Howe being interested in taking the job.
Everton by any standards is a big job, our current position in the table does reflect the size of the club, just the way it is being run.

Dave there are bigger problems than him. We have a manager who is clueless and a pile of footballers who don't know how to play.
