Quite enjoyed Jonathan Wilson's description of the club in his latest article:

"There is something deeply disconcerting about Everton. They are like some creature of myth, shapeshifting, ethereal, beyond the grasp of mortal perception. Every time you think you have worked them out, every time you think you know what they are and reach out towards them, they slip away. They are a team of the mist, intangible."
Very good. Even more impressed by his refusal to insert the word "cack" - admirable

Article in the Telegraph. Before you start I don't read that rag, it's on NewsNow says
The board have sympathy and take responsibility with Silva for not signing a centre foreward and a centre back. They realise that the team has had lots of games were they were on top but did not have a forward to.put the ball in the net. Also that the team has a soft spine which another centre half could have stiffened. That's why they are still backing Silva

For me we are desperate for a proven goalscorer.
As for a spine I think there are so many in this team without one

I wonder if the board are taking responsibility for Silva's lack of any tactical nous, his strange substitutions and his overall game management. And talking about spines, we must have one of the most spineless boards in footy.

Nah no way, loads of people told me when the window closed that those things definitely were not a problem whatsoever and would cause us no problems at all. They can't have been wrong surely?

Nobody before the start of the season could of predicted that after 14 games we'd have only won 4 games, it's utterly unbelievable and everyone's to blame, it's a reflection of how bad the club is run but 4 wins jeez, we don't even draw much which is pretty wierd also.

The CB issues everybody saw.

But im not having the Striker issue, sure we knew Kean would need time to settle, but hes not settling on the frigging bench is he.
