Mourinho come here? He'd need assurances he was getting in the region of £400m to spend to transform the squad. So far under Moshiri we've ended up with Koeman, Allardyce and Silva. Why do you think we're getting a world class manager next time?

Silva has had more than enough time. His first season we said we can’t judge him because of the previous manager and this would be the test. The early indications are that we haven’t improved and I don’t fancy wasting half the season before we get the inevitable confirmation.

Realistic appointment- Mancini / Erik Ten Hag

Last ditch appointment - Biesla

Everyone one of those managers would be an upgrade on Silva.

Ten Hag for me would be an exciting choice and if we dont make a move I could see him ending up at a Dortmund/Sevilla type club soon.

Biesla whilst a risk would kick the whole club into touch and have the players running through brick walls week in week out.

Watch his Leeds side and compare the effort to before he was there.

The thing that annoys me about Silva are his substitutes.

When the team is going stale and we need a goal he just sits on the bench looking around. Like clockwork, we concede and then he throws all the forwards he can on. Painfully predictable.

Mouhino has not got the options for a Madrid or barca type job anymore, he wants a job in the premier that narrows it down considerably.
