So classic Brazil then?
Is it? If so, I am all for it! ;) ;)

I see it as a back four with attacking full backs, and two rather defensively-minded central midfielders who can put their foot in and actually pass a football, complimented by hard-working wide men, one of whom is already proven in his play with Digne, and two strikers who are actually a goal threat. On paper, at least, looks great! I'd try it if I were manager. But let's just stick with Marco and his 4-2-3-1 and finish 11th.

Dare I say it but we need to play more like the way Liverpool set up .. tell Bernard and Richarlison to play high up and they don't have to really track back - have a false 9 like Iwobi who likes to drift into good positions and play 3 across the middle who can win the ball and also cover wide areas (covering for Bernard and Richarlsion) Delph/Gbamin/Gomes maybe or even ask Gylfi to play further back .

he's such a home manager, don't get how you can get it so right at home and so bad away from home, it's like he thinks you can play the same both home and away when you clearly cant, just look at his last half dozen aways

Bournemouth- 1-3, shocking, absolutely shocking
Villa 0-2, again absolutely appalling against a team who had lost 20 in a row or something
Palace 0-0, without their only good player, awful
spurs 2-2, not to bad like but they h\d already finished top 4 and had a CL final a week later I'd say they wasn't that arsed
palace 0-0, final throw of the dice to finish in the top 7 dashed by this
Fulham 0-2, we didn't just lose we got battered by a relegated team

not having the "he's only been here 12 months" stuff, he's been here long enough to set up differently away from home

still think there is a good manager in there but it's been an awful start to the season minus a half decent performance against wolves

when you put it like this... pretty damning.

His audition is now well and truly over.
His team, his signings, his methods, his fault.
If we amble through this season finishing third in the "best of the rest" mini league he needs replacing.

It's not as if Silva's tactics away from home haven't worked out over a period of just a few games, it's over a load of games, and Silva just keeps plodding on playing the same way, a good manager would clock after a few games that it's not going to work and try something different, worrying from Silva.
I think him not being that arsed about mixing it up is because he gets his millions regardless of whether we win, lose or draw. In fact, he'll get more millions by doing a bad job, as we'll pay him off and he can walk into another job immediately. It'd mean more work and effort on his behalf to train our players to play to a different system, so why bother?

I just think it's more because he's just an average manager mate who hasn't got the tactical nous to change things when it comes to needing a plan B.

I think his major problem is the lack of goals in the side. He feels like he has to shoehorn Sigurdsson in to the detriment of the team because he's more of a goal threat than our strikers. I'm not saying he's right to do it, but I can understand why he does.

Sick to death of him tbh. 3 transfer windows, 2 pre-seasons, 43 premier league matches, several cup games and we still have zero consistency, a disgraceful away record, a team that is capable of playing decent and then subsequently playing like uninterested amateurs who show more passion doing rally calls after embarrassments than playing football, a Manager who still doesn't seem to have a plan a, never mind plan b and we are 11th in the table after a run of games at the start of the season to die for.

Things need to change and improve as fast as possible even though it is very unlikely and maybe even impossible. He is really just doing what he has always done in this league and in reality it is us and Everton's hierarchy who are wanting and 'expecting' him to do something he hasn't ever before done in this league.

Sadly @davek and @Frank. will attempt to tell everybody who listens that the squad isnt good enough.

The squad has a few holes in it, but its more than good enough to beat every single team we have played so far, thats not me saying HUHDER WE ARE EVERTON WE MUST SMASH, im basing it on the players we have compared to the players other teams have.

We havent shown up in a single game, sure we have won games, but we made hard work of Watford and Wolves, granted those 2 are very good sides normally, but its not good enough with the players we have so far.

Hes really peed me off, no doubt I will be singing his praises in a few weeks if we start picking up points and im really not trying to be a bed wetter getting all edgy for edgys sake, but we didnt just get beat on Sunday, we got schooled.

Sort it out you utter snake.
