Sadly @davek and @Frank. will attempt to tell everybody who listens that the squad isnt good enough.

The squad has a few holes in it, but its more than good enough to beat every single team we have played so far, thats not me saying HUHDER WE ARE EVERTON WE MUST SMASH, im basing it on the players we have compared to the players other teams have.

We havent shown up in a single game, sure we have won games, but we made hard work of Watford and Wolves, granted those 2 are very good sides normally, but its not good enough with the players we have so far.

Hes really peed me off, no doubt I will be singing his praises in a few weeks if we start picking up points and im really not trying to be a bed wetter getting all edgy for edgys sake, but we didnt just get beat on Sunday, we got schooled.

Sort it out you utter snake.
I think our current league position will be where we will finish under silva at the very very best

Sick to death of him tbh. 3 transfer windows, 2 pre-seasons, 43 premier league matches, several cup games and we still have zero consistency, a disgraceful away record, a team that is capable of playing decent and then subsequently playing like uninterested amateurs who show more passion doing rally calls after embarrassments than playing football, a Manager who still doesn't seem to have a plan a, never mind plan b and we are 11th in the table after a run of games at the start of the season to die for.

Things need to change and improve as fast as possible even though it is very unlikely and maybe even impossible. He is really just doing what he has always done in this league and in reality it is us and Everton's hierarchy who are wanting and 'expecting' him to do something he hasn't ever before done in this league.
I have always been behind him, maybe because he started well at Watford, he nearly got hull out of trouble when they were already dead and buried. Ex players say what a great manager he was, the turnaround in performances last season, when you see us near the top of the pressing stats. It makes you think he’s got something and maybe he could turn out great.

But now I’m close to giving up, same system away after 3 very poor results, the away form. Apparently we’ve won 4 points from loosing positions( not sure how true this is) , same players same subs, well 90% of the time.

He got out thought by Eddie “ I can’t defend” Howe
How embarrassing. They basically played 424 with 3 strikers and another attacking player in Harry Wilson. Add to that cook in midfield hadn’t played in a year. We should have been all over them in midfield and run them ragged. Howe set up to put us under pressure and try and get set pieces. And it worked a treat, Silva had no answer. Which is a huge worry.

I think he only signed a 3 yr deal and who knows maybe there a clause if he fails to get European football in 2yrs. We have 6 winnable games out of the next 8 imo. Then we play Leicester, Liverpool, Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal. If we aren’t sitting in and around top 6 before them 5. He will be gone if them results go badly.

He’s been unlucky with injuries to Gomes & Gbamin. But if he sticks with this system, keeps picking Schneiderlin & Coleman. Doesn’t at least drop siggurdsson for a few games and try something different. IE new number 10. Or 433. If Keeps rotating Kean & DCL, then he will by gone before new year.

It was the DCL selection wasn’t it? Lol

I’ve been a massive supporter of Silva, wanted him to start with and thought given the proper tools he would be a really good manager.
I wanted him gone on Sunday, it’s not the loss that’s the problem, it’s the same crappy tippy tappy sideways awful football that we play, easily on par with anything Allardyce served up. As soon as the team sheet was announced I knew it was game over. The players look and play like utter losers and I’m sick to death of it to be honest.
Its not good hiring and sacking managers but I feel like we are just delaying the inevitable by keeping him. It’s got to that point we’re 5 games in I’m not arsed already. We need to pick up points now because the fixture list leading up to Christmas is horrific and I can see us being firmly bottom half around Christmas Day.
I don’t know what the answer is. Do we keep him on sulking away getting comfortably turned over by villa and Bournemouth, Relying on the home form and clinging on to a cup run. Or do we get rid, go all out for Jose or someone of that ilk and maybe try and gain some respect back.
Only my opinion here but it’s time we stopped messing around and went and got someone decent. I might have gone to early here but I’m sick to death of them all at the minute.

If we're still playing 4-2-3-1 by January my faith would be pretty much destroyed on that alone, It doesn't suit the team, We play two defensive mids and STILL ship loads of goals in it's just an outdated formation.

No, it's not what I'm saying.

Ive said all along it is a decent first team. It's just not good enough to show a clean pair of heels to the likes of Leicester and to pass United or Arsenal, which are the low lying fruit in the "top 6". That's because when you have players like ours they lack in consistency. On their day they can, and will again this season, beat 2/3 of the "top 6".

We buy players who are not winners. Winners are thoroughgoing professionals who are switched on ALL the time. Digne is a stand out, because he is consistently focussed and puts in above average performances in most games....I'm amazed he's still here, tbh, even after just being here a season I though he'd be snapped up.

Overall, we still compete for what is now sadly known amongst the hackery as "The Everton Cup".

In addition to Digne Dave, I would say Kean could well come very good but needs game time (ahead of DCL)

A good manager gets a tune out of his players, every week.
