The same thing that he did at Chelsea 2nd time around at Madrid and at United.

When things go wrong blame everyone else and throw the players under the bus that he's parked to stop teams scoring.

Then he'd sulk and then the players refuse to play for him.

Mourinho was great now he's finished.

Who would you have ?

That Walcott for Coleman sub was diabolical today.

What I don’t understand is that he plays DCL week after week when he doesn’t score, the guy finally grabs a goal last week and he doesn’t bring him on when we are chasing a game at home and swinging crosses in right left and centre. Baffling.

That's what annoys me the most, no team puts more crosses in than us, we are terrible in the air...... and at crossing.

This is correct. We never looked like scoring from a cross or corner once today, but that is our number 1 tactic.

Royle relegated Oldham too wheras Martinez won a trophy. Its not just about what the manager has done elsewhere but how they are suited to our club. Royle for example worked because it was Joe Royle, right place, right team, he was exactly what we needed at that point.
People saying Silva is a gamble, but then suggesting Arteta is COMPLETE madness.

What has Arteta achieved to suggest he is even remotely capable of knocking Everton into shape and then taking it to a higher level.

It will be great to have another “good looking guy in a suit” adding some glamour to our touch line, but I cannot see what else he can offer at the moment.

Nothing against him, he is a great player and could end up being the next Guardiola, but Everton is not a training wheels club. In fact we could completely ruin his career if it all goes pear shaped!

Rudi Garcia would make us great again.

He's had a very solid career. Think he'd be my choice if we shoot Silva out of a cannon but I think he's a lot closer to being loaded in said cannon in the fans' opinion than the Everton hierarchy's.

I really don't think his job is under threat with them at the moment.

My opinion would be I don’t how much of this crap is his fault or Brands fault or the players fault but you’d be hard pushed to find strong indicators that he is going to do much more with us than tread water.

I don’t want us continually sacking managers, and I definitely don’t want us sacking with no decent long term plan but the overall picture from the start of last season is kind of meh. I won’t be overly bothered if we stick until the end of the season and am sure we will be top 8 but I no longer have any illusions that he will totally right the ship and move us upwards and onwards.

The continuing crap performances of players under whatever manager makes me wonder who can shake the club up like it needs.

He doesn't really fit with the brands model.

Supposed big ego and wants mega bucks for himself and transfer budget.

However, mouriniho could work if he taps into the underdog thing he had going with Porto and to some extent inter in the CL.

Whether that man still exists and he has the appetite is another matter.

It sounds fanciful but THAT mouriniho would be pure catnip at goodison.
