Simple fact is those players are better than What he's getting out of them.

He's stubborn, dour and completely out of his depth.

In the Context of the opponent thats one of the worst performances I've seen.

He has to go.

Its not who we want to be as a club.

But he is awful. Koeman, Allardyce awful.

Exactly. People criticised Allardyce’s tactics, so it’s only fair that this clown should be picked up on his lack of them.

Would he heck mate

He would kick this club up the arse like Klipperty has done at Liverpool.

Why would he?

He has never managed a club like us. Every club he has been at have been top end teams (except Leiria but that was at the start of his career). He works at a different level to us.

I mean it COULD work but I personally think it would be a disaster with in house fighting all over the place.

I don't think he has got the fight in him these days either.

Poor selection of mangers.
Well, a manager can be great in one job and terrible at another. Both Koeman and Martinez are doing well in international football. Silva is actually the weakest of the three, which makes his appointment the most baffling. Koeman was good a Saints and had a bit of overseas pedigree. Bobby kept Wigan up for a while (though I felt Bruce was a better league manager) and he also won an FA Cup (albeit in freak circumstances). The club was a shambles when Moyes came in, but he was a promising young coach at the time, and he proved himself in the long run.

Silva on the other hand relegated Hull and got sacked by Wigan after a horrendous run of form.

Lets be honest after the last few seasons whats the harm in trying?

I think the debate about him is slowly grinding to halt, whether you want him to be given more time or you don't, I don't think anyone seriously suspects that he will the Everton manager for next season. So what do you, persevere and hope he can turn it around into some kind of respectable season and hope we limp in 7th or 8th and cut your losses then or see this season as very much alive - keep him until we get the City game out the way and try and make a change then?

Some out of work managers (according to transfermarkt):
  • Jose Mourinho (Manchester United)
  • Max Allegri (Juventus)
  • Luciano Spalletti (Internazionale)
  • Rudi Garcia (Marseille)
  • Marcellino (Valencia)
  • Qique Setien (Real Betis)
I imagine the top two are unattainable and the rest are complete unknown quantities when it comes to the Premier League but have OK reputations in the leagues they've managed in, still it's not the most inspiring collective.

The managers who have recent Prem experience contain the likes of Javi Gracia, Claude Puel and one David Moyes, more uninspiring still....

What a distressing predicament though, another season slowly going into the drain and we don't have any answers on how to reverse it.

Rudi Garcia would make us great again.

All that hope in the summer only for us to be six games in with the tactical masterclass being ''send it'' and ''throw it in to the mixer''. I don't know about sacking him tonight but he's currently offering nothing any other no mark manager wouldn't.

We've had this problem for a while. We have no identity, no clear flow to our play and we are paying out the nose for it.
