And set us back 3 seasons.

I won’t say 3 seasons because Martinez was as crap.

He and Walsh wasted a lot of money though.

I do think this ‘performance’ (couple of chances on goal albeit from City’s poor defending) will buy this joker Silva more time.

Sad thing is it probably will. Everton have become that used to mediocrity that getting beaten 3 - 1 against City is deemed not too bad as we were expecting to get beat about 5 - 0. Have already seen blues saying as much.

We had plenty of chances in that game today and should have got something out of it regardless of the opposition. It just isn't good enough and we are currently 1 point above the relegation zone and in relegation form. Should be sacked while there is still a chance to get something out of the season but they will wait until it is too late.

He's out of his depth. We are a defensive shambles. He's spent an absolute bomb to fall down to Koeman levels of performance. He deserves to go more than Koeman.

I’d agree a bit. Koeman had Europe and an impossible schedule to cope with. Silva has neither.

Koeman deserved to get fired for whom he and Walsh brought in during the transfer market though. Silva I feel has at least brought in talent.

Ironic that we performed better today against Champions than we have against lesser. Actualy i say lesser but the truth is we're no better or worse than those we look down on.

21 points available and only 7 taken( from a fixture list you would have hand picked) More worrying is 7 games gone and 6 goals scored. If you cant put the ball in the net then you're in trouble. Esp as we have a mistake or two in us at the back.
Genuinely dont know if to stick with him or get rid asap. We really could just be continuing with someone who not only wont be anything decent. But could get us relegated.

but that's not the point is it? They still needed time, proven though they were. It suggests an unproven younger manager might need more time, right?! Who do you get in? realistically? Whether we like it or not, City and Lpool will attract a higher calibre of manager, same as players

We still play better than we did, and are capable of upward trajectory as opposed to some recent managers. Managers need time. 45 games is not long enough nor is 2 windows with the amount of deadwood we had
