Not defending Silva, I get the impression some of our players think they are better than what they really are. I keep getting told what a quality squad we have, I don’t see it mate.

It’s probably because we are paying too much these days. Teams that have gone down this route need to be in it for the long term. Man City are the obvious success, qpr are the other end of the scale.

We are 15th and TBH in a relegation battle, no two ways about it. The only way out is to start winning games on a consecutive basis. Can any one honestly see us doing that with Silva managing?

Yes, not wanted by a big bulk of everton fans.

He will have to console himslef by getting the Real Madrid job and winning la liga and the Champions league.

We would be much better off having 5 years of somone like eddie howe and comfortably finishing 8th every year and out of the cups early.

As long as Howe lived near merseyside we should all be happy.
