Remember that anger over Martinez's last season and then when we all wanted Koeman sacked, Unsworth came in - the board panicked and we got big Sam, we wanted him out so Silva came, I wonder how long before we're calling for his successor to be sacked?

I would say about a season

What about the advert for the job too?

Chelsea are a sacking club who win trophies every season. We're like them only without the trophies bit.

An advert for a championship club holds less power than a premier league club too....

Honestly I get what you are saying but you have to take each individual appointment on their own merits.

A year and a half is not much time of course but after that amount of time personally I would like to see some kind of plan, what is he trying to achieve? What is his Everton sides identity? I genuinely don't see any difference between his side and Allardyce or Koemans.

Just pay top money for Allegri or Mourinho now. We’ve tried everything else bar actually spending big money on managers who win things.
Pretty sure Bobby, Koeman and Silva have all won things (of various quality). Prior results are no indicator of future performance!

Surely we have to give Silva until Christmas anyway - it seems sackings come earlier and earlier

Can’t take this anymore. It was meant to be a season of progress and now we’re smack bang in the middle of a relegation battle with a real possibility of going down.

He HAS to go tonight.
I dont we have a real possibility of going down. We were never really in danger under Koeman either. The bigger issue is we just look like a team of expensively assembled individuals with no team ethic

Wouldnt surprise me at all,the point I was making is that we will play 4-2-3-1 with the same 11 as today with the exception Gomes might play before being subbed for Schniderlin

Very much so.

Today was another example of that the minute the team sheet came out.

Currently going through the second horrible run on as many seasons under Silva.

Is that what our standard is? Losing streaks?

This isn't a sack or keep Silva point, this is asking about the club ethos now. After the transition of last season , to kick off another bad run so early is alarm bells for even me.

But if Silva is allowed to keep going until he gets it right again then the Everton of old is well and truly gone. This wouldn't be good enough anywhere else with the calibre of players and money spent. Nothing but the best yet our new motto seems to be see what happens in another month.

He may turn it around in a month or two, but then what is the point of that every year?

Lost 5 out of 8. He must go now as he has shown he has changed nothing but expected a different result.

Spurs united a total disgrace where are Everton stepping in,oh we’re 17th with the easiest run of fixtures anyone could hand pick, loser club loser mentality, why are our lows so bloody painful , as we can’t sack 11 useless players it’s bye bye silva

Things of various quality being the key point here. I’m not talking about Mickey mouse trophies and leagues, or winning things whilst simultaneously getting relegated. We gain nothing by sticking with Silva, absolutely nothing.

What does this board and Brands see in Silva that the rest of the world doesnt? Bloody deluded. Obvious time is up for him now but I fully expect him to be hanging about such is the neglect the board have shown under Moshiris guidance.

Unfortunately I can see parallels with us now with Villa and Newcastle where they were relegated.... hate to say it!!!
