The point is that you like relegation battles for EFC instead of having a manager who knows how to achieve safety first with the resources at his disposal yet you complain when we are involved in a relegation dogfight with a manager who has little experience of getting out of said dog fight...bizarre

it’s ok fam, I’ve found you.

I enjoyed schooling you over the fat man then and doing the same now @MarcoM

Not sure how many blues feel this way, but i'm devastated tonight. Really.
Feels like the writing is on the wall for Silva and his regime, and this is now the 3rd false dawn we have had with Martinez and Koeman. It's just rinse and repeat. Ineffective football with no style, stubborn tactics, insistence on two defensive midfielders no matter who we play, bottling it with no fight.
Another season over before it has began, when the top 6 is as wide open as ever.
How long before Richarlison wants out? A la Stones/Lukaku/Barkley. Then back to square one.
If we are totally honest, even the summer recruitment was a case of ''Who will come to us''? rather than ''Who could we sign to really make a statement''? Missed out on Zaha, went for Iwobi. Is Iwobi going to ever be a top 4 player? Probably not.
Needed a proven goalscorer i.e Dzeko or Manzukic whilst DCL develops, go for a 19 year old who is clearly not ready either.
Went into the season with two CB, neither has any pace. Piss poor recruitment and management again. And to make it all worse that lot across the park, in roughly the same period since Moshiri came on board, have been transformed into possibly the best team in world football.
Rant over!

2011-2014 estoril,
2014-2015 sporting,
2015-2016 olympiakos
Relegated hull, would do the same with watford.. Managed provincial side in Portugal, spend only a year in solid clubs.
Bluffed his way to everton manager, huge respect for the guy in that sense,
estoril is his level

I think the job's too big for him.

Need a top manager who is experienced at working at a big club with the pressure that goes with it. Problem being that not many (if any) in that bracket would come to manage us at the moment.

been here since 2011 with no multis @MarcoM

Anyway....stop deflecting the discussion.

You wanted to string Sam up for some unknown reason when he had guided a very poor EFC side to safety so we could all enjoy our Christmases and now your complaining about Silva...like I said make your mind up whether you want EFC in the Prem or would like to see them relegated...

yes @MarcoM I wanted that fat meff dragged by his balls from this club because of his defensive, inept football. Exactly the same football that is now being served up

I’m consistent in what I want from a manager, unlike you I’ve witnessed us win things

So the big question now is, do the club put out the little scrap of none news regarding the new stadium in the next few days or do they wait till after we've lost at home againt West Ham on the 19th?

But your'e complaining about Silvas defensive ineptness...confused here....are you ok? Do you need any help ? o_O

Whilst I do agree with much of this the first point isn't valid.

Whilst I do agree with much of this the first point isn't valid defence of MS simply because we haven't needed cover there yet - Mina and Keane have been available and Holgate, who many called for to be in the first eleven not too long back, is cover. Of course we need another, better CB but a lack of cover there can't excuse the results we've been getting - only if one of them gets injured will that come into play

Cover intensifies performance. Holgate is cover only by name. They need competitive competition. Zouma was that last year.
This year there is none.
