Anyway....stop deflecting the discussion.

You wanted to string Sam up for some unknown reason when he had guided a very poor EFC side to safety so we could all enjoy our Christmases and now your complaining about Silva...like I said make your mind up whether you want EFC in the Prem or would like to see them relegated...

Dragged the season back then sleptwalked the rest of the way instead of trying to shake off his dour footballing image and push on, had he done that and got us into Europe he might have had more respect. A dinosaur never changes that’s why the likes of him and Pulis are hopefully out the game for good

Respectfully how can you ignore trying to solve the problem with same exact plan week in and week out.

Zero adjustments.

It’s baffling that this approach is not only accepted by some but defended.

Aside from changing Siggy for Iwobi and DCL for Kean I don't see how he can change the approach.
He doesn't have the tools in our weaponry to change it.
Scheinderlin is playing and he was fourth choice at start of season.

Zonal marking was very successful last season. The players can do it. They proved that.

What adjustments would you suggest?

Would the RS put up with their board carrying on like ours for the past 2 decades whilst we were winning trophies and playing CL Football?

Their owners would have been chased out of town years ago - we just accept it.

Only way we'll get the message over to Moshiri, Kenwrong, Denise and Brands that we've had enough of the mediocrity running through the club is by voting with our feet regardless of how difficult it is.

Your obsessed with the reds. I don't recall them ever abandoning there club.

An advert for a championship club holds less power than a premier league club too....

Honestly I get what you are saying but you have to take each individual appointment on their own merits.

A year and a half is not much time of course but after that amount of time personally I would like to see some kind of plan, what is he trying to achieve? What is his Everton sides identity? I genuinely don't see any difference between his side and Allardyce or Koemans.

I wouldn't criticise fellow blues who have an ounce of ambition and are massively frustrated but to quote a post from Pablo on TEF

'We've had:

Moyes
Martinez
Unsworth & Royle
Koeman
Unsworth
Allardyce
Silva

Manage us the last 6 years. Every one of those managers in that space of time (with the exception of Royle as he was just 'there') has been villified either before joining, immediately after joining or within a short space of them joining.

What's manager no.7 going to do so differently than the rest?'

As my post said....

'Chelsea are a sacking club who win trophies every season. We're like them only without the trophies bit.'

Dragged the season back then sleptwalked the rest of the way instead of trying to shake off his dour footballing image and push on, had he done that and got us into Europe he might have had more respect. I'm not saying Sam was the long term answer.

And you know what...what would you give for a big bustling center forward or center back bullying the rest of the league in EFC's name. EFC fans would have loved every minute of it because for way too long now we've been a really, really soft touch mate.

I find it amusing that these managers where dismissed by this forum :-

Brendan Rodgers (When at Celtic) Leicester 3rd, 14 points
Manuel Pellegrini, West Ham heading to 4th, 13 points
Sean Dyche, Burnley 5th, 12 points
Eddie Howe, Bournemouth 10th, 11 points but played 1 less game.

If Newcastle somehow get a win v Manure we are in the bottom 3 with a quarter of the season gone.... the signs were there last season. And with all his other PL teams.
It because they are good managers. Just like Roy Hodgson, who is doing brilliantly at Palace. People keep trying to reduce everything to statistics, but there is a lot more to it than that. People would say Statistically that Shankly is not the best Liverpool manager, but I think he is by far their most important.

Ahh good old abuse. You seem to think judging them by us justifies sacking him and chasing our board out.

No mate read the post again I said the board have taken the pee out of the fans and ran the club like amateurs for the past 2 decades which is made even worse when that lot are parading around our city with trophies and a soon to be league title.

But you keep accepting this bull every season like a good super bloo.
