No mate read the post again I said the board have taken the pee out of the fans and ran the club like amateurs for the past 2 decades which is made even worse when that lot are parading around our city with trophies and a soon to be league title.

But you keep accepting this bull every season like a good super bloo.

Well twenty quid says you go v West Ham. Assuming you go the match.

I support the club, me and my sons will always go as that's what support is.

Have given my tickets to relatives most of the season mate - im not going until Silva is gone and I'll be waiting on his replacement before I decide if its even worth renewing next season new stadium or no new stadium on the horizon.

Personally I`d get rid, after the poor results last season and again this season with the same traits. What is clear is that we need to sort our defence, someone like David Moyes could do this and would command instant respect in that dressing room, would only be temporary until the new man is found.

I see no point in dragging this pain out any longer, MS cant turn this around. I also think the job is too big for Rhino. Someone like Moyes to stabilise the club in the interim would be a solid plan........ I am not advocating DM long term, but we know what we will get.

I'm not saying Sam was the long term answer.

And you know what...what would you give for a big bustling center forward or center back bullying the rest of the league in EFC's name. EFC fans would have loved every minute of it because for way too long now we've been a really, really soft touch mate.

This isn’t the 90s/early 00’s anymore, the days of having a commander like Waggy or the aerial muscle of Big Dunc are long gone.

Look at other teams, Arsenal don’t have an Adams or Keown, Chelsea haven’t been the same since Terry retired, United lack a Keane/Bruce/Robson type hell even that lot did away with both Crouch and Carroll because they were detrimental to how they play

I wouldn't criticise fellow blues who have an ounce of ambition and are massively frustrated but to quote a post from Pablo on TEF

'We've had:

Moyes
Martinez
Unsworth & Royle
Koeman
Unsworth
Allardyce
Silva

Manage us the last 6 years. Every one of those managers in that space of time (with the exception of Royle as he was just 'there') has been villified either before joining, immediately after joining or within a short space of them joining.

What's manager no.7 going to do so differently than the rest?'

As my post said....

'Chelsea are a sacking club who win trophies every season. We're like them only without the trophies bit.'
“ What’s manager no.7 going to do so differently than the rest?” I think it will depend on who that manager is and I haven’t got a clue who he will be, but it is looking increasingly obvious that Silva will not change our fortune for the better, it doesn’t even look like he has the remotest clue how to, unfortunately for us fans, Silva will be well compensated for being a failure.

Phil Kirkbride hinting that Brands will give him the next 3 matches - shambles.

3 more matches might be enough for us to be secure bottom 3 by the time a new manager comes in. It will push us even closer to a panic rescue appointment.

the new manager will be facing a bigger task to manage and less room for mistake.

the international break will also enable more time for new manager to take a good look at our players.Without this break, anyone that comes in might be facing a competitive games within few days of arrival.

I cannot see a better time to sack him than now. Not sure why we need 3 more games to prove he is just a fraud. I have no doubt the next 3 games will be a repeat of what we’ve seen in the previous 8. So what’s the point?

For me the biggest stand out of this side, regardless of whatever formation he sends out is just how slow it is,
Pretty much every attack and counter attack ends up out wide, foot on the ball, jog a few yards, then turn back inside....pass pass pass, then whip it in once the oppo have settled their defence to clear

If fat sam had stayed we would of had summer signings of Tosun and Walcotts, we would have been steady but looking to improve, basically kicking the can down the road, for someone else to ship the crap out and start again in a few years

We currently have a squad of very good young talented players, the best in along time, for whatever reason they arnt playing well, is it tactics or motivation, the problem lies with Silva, if he can't fix it I'm sure a manager with a bit about him could get this team top 6 no problem

Dont believe this for a second. Bet you go the Derby.

Aside from changing Siggy for Iwobi and DCL for Kean I don't see how he can change the approach.
He doesn't have the tools in our weaponry to change it.
Scheinderlin is playing and he was fourth choice at start of season.

Zonal marking was very successful last season. The players can do it. They proved that.

What adjustments would you suggest?
Formation for one.
There are options. Ive never said I have the answer at all. However having a manager that refuse to make adjustments of any kind expecting things to change is beyond aggravating.

I’m not going to get into a tit for tat with suggesting a line up. I’m sure my amateur ideas on tactics and formation would be rippled to shreds with this group.

Bottom line 8 weeks and we are still approaching every game I’m the same fashion with same poor results.

That's exactly my point mate...they are all on the wane. So you have to think one step ahead of the rest...What would pep do if we went to the Ethihad and bullied them left right and center and got a one nil...what would the rs do if we did them one nil from a massive long ball?? Nobody seems to get it...we do you think rs are doing so well? Because no one wants to bully them and get in their faces...What is your enduring moment of the 95 Cup Final when the camera panned on Joe Royle???
