Agree. Cant be bothered will long winded reasons why. Other than i think his style of play is 10 years out of date. The he wins trophies thing playing that way at Everton in my opinion wouldnt work. Everton fans would just end up hating the football with no trophies.

His style of play is out of date, what compared to the scintillating stuff Silva is serving up.

We all know from the fixture list it will be a tough December, Difficult to see where we are going to get points, not impossible but hard. The games we had for the beginning of the season, on paper we should have been wins, that would have given us the cushion to withstand the December onslaught.

Therein lies the failure of Silva's management.

What is the January fixture list like?
Without looking I can very safely say it'll be horrible, as we'll be in our around the relegation zone and even games that are easy on paper will be impossible for us as we fold under the pressure of expectation. If Silva is still here after a horrible December then we're going down, barring three other teams somehow being worse.

He'll probably do as well if not better against the top 6 teams, ie teams more comfident to go at us.

lets just pretend Marco got the "Heave-Ho Silva away!" tomorrow and we managed to throw a 3-4 year contract at Jose for a huge annual salary. What happens if we are in the same spot in 12 months - he doesn't change his system, he's not infallible, he is a stubborn control freak who would alienate everyone. So then what...? huge compo, bring in a 'less than Silva' look alike or an even more high profile manager than Mourinho? In the mean time Bramley Moore has faded like us into the Championship. People need to think further than 2 matches ahead.
Not that we are getting Jose but what you are describing is the exact situation we had under Sam, what if the next manager turns out to be a total dud, it didnt stop us sacking Sam so shouldn't stop us sacking Silva.

He's gonna win us the cup isn't he and make us all look silly
As lovely as that sounds, no. If, by some miracle, we overcome Leicester, the remaining teams will bum us with ease. Liverpool or the two Manchester clubs. Always said as soon as we play a good team we're out. If we're lucky against Leicester we won't get lucky a second time, not with Silva here.

Will be surprised if he is still here after the next internation break, never mind the cup tie in December. Get beat by Spurs on Sunday and continue to loiter around the relegation zone and there will be hysterical rectums in the hierarchy just dying to pull the trigger. Should have already been pulled in the last international break though tbh.

I think on current trajectory he gets sacked at the end of the season. Unless we spend a considerable amount of time in/very close to the relegation zone that’s how I see it going

Defeat against Spurs or Southampton and he'll be sacked imo because Norwich at home would be a must win looking at Decembers fixture list. We'd be quite far off the 20 point mark before Crimbo at the half way point so we've seriously got to start picking up some points starting Sunday against Spurs then the Saints away.

These Jose shouts are comical.
Why ?
We have a manager who is odds on favourite to be next Premiership manager to be sacked and people are looking at possible replacements.

I seen several names being mentioned.. Arteta and Wilder... now they are comical.

Mourinho is an out of work manager who won't be employed by City or Liverpool, Utd or Chelsea for different reasons.
I read again today that he wants to remain in England and the only other options are Arsenal and Spurs... you can decide on the possibility of either of those but as I see it if he doesn't get either of those, if won't consider Everton then it is abroad or nothing.
