the performance was an utter disgrace, not defending VAR or the red but it was abysmal

No it had a massive impact on the game We should have had a penalty for 1-1 and then played the last 15 against 10 men, could would and should have been an entirely different story.

I mean how can you send off the wrong guy for breaking someone's leg for God's sake.

I think today or the next few days is not about football, it’s about humanity and not rubbing salt into the team emotionally. Some might take it harder than others and it is not the time to act now.
That's actually an admirable view and emotionally mature - BUT this is a cold clinical business and if we let sentimentality make us hold off on action that is needed to to halt the direction we are currently going in then we run the very real risk of supporting a Championship club next season.

Christ this isnt an under 7's team.

Not one of those players would be shocked or upset if Slva goes and I suspect most would actively welcome it,

No harm done waiting one more week for things to settle down. These players spend many hours together and the bond might be deeper than you’d imagine.

didn't do anything first half
did nothing 2nd half but swing some crosses in and the Richarlison left foot shot, It's pathetic, Either the players aren't listening to him or his tactics are all wrong.

Fully agree.

I’ve been listening to the Under the Cosh podcasts with ex players, gives you great insights into the dressing rooms and relationships between players and managers.
I reckon at least half that squad would be happy to see him go.

Wouldn’t argue we will be in danger of relegation with him around, but if you’d ask me if he deserve to be sack last week, I would’ve said yes.

Ask me again next week.

Seriously mate, he’s injured, badly yes but he’s alive and well besides a non life threatening injury.
We will go down with this fella in charge.
the worst thing that can happen is we keep getting a point here and there to keep him safe.

This man will take us down.

11 points from 11 games.

OUT

as Southall said of two seasons ago. We were never getting relegated and it was rubbish for that corrupt oaf to be spouting on about a "job done". its the same now.

as miserable as football makes me lately and as bad as we are as a club, i dont understand people panicing 2/3 mths in to a season. you have season upon season of evidence of the utter crap that ends up down the bottom placings to show you we will be fine.
