For all those saying he's unlucky:

Brighton Loss - down to VAR despite conceeding +1 goal after the penalty

Spurs Draw - down to VAR / cant sack him because of Gomes' injury.

Bloke for me gets a hell of alot of excuses to see him live to fight another day.

What will be the excuse next weekend? We are kin 17th 11 games in with Man City, RS, Leicester, Arsenal & Utd all to come.

The board are playing russian roulette with our clubs future.

Even if we dont go down - we'll finish bottom half losing a hell of alot of prize money whilst our competitors like Leicester get extra revenue to compete.

Like I said, its difficult. We were good against West Ham, very good actually. We were pretty good at Brighton, got done, and today everyone on the pitch on both sides were crap. One of those games you get.

So not sure what he could have done differently, which has probably cost us 5 points.

Today, a desperate game from both sides. Daft mistake gave Spurs their only shot, (?), then Gomes gets bust, 2 VAR pens go against us, and we grab a late leveller.

And again, the starting line up was welcomed, on here anyrate.

I am happy to concede I havnt watched anything other than MOTD, and I am far from convinced he is the right bloke, but blimey, thats some black cats he has seen in any league.

I’ve repeated time and time again that the officials have been particularly bad in the last three league games. Even West Ham was horribly officiated. I am convinced that they want Silva gone. Still deserves the sack regardless

its simple for me, these decisions should be made simpler. A player raises his hand above his head and hits the ball, it’s a penalty. The definition should be black and white, not open to interpretation.

It's not open to interpretation; Taylor was just looking for a reason not to give it.

we are utter crap but have 3 teams worse than us and are only 5 pts away from where we are aiming for. how bad are all those other teams if we need to worry about relegation and they are all within 5pts of us?

oct/nov is not time for this worrying about relegation unless we were cut adrift at the bottom. even allowing for the hard run coming up that people are predicting zero pts from. they predicted no chance today and we were probably the better of two crap sides and didnt lose. honestly dont get it.

This isn't the time no for relegation worries.

It is if we want anything other than relegation though.

Plenty of games to get something from this season including European football. However when the win column continues to look barren then we write another season off after 2 months. Silva made sure last year and he has done it again.

Literally we have a manager who can have a terrible 3 month spell in him where we get beat a lot. I'm sorry but whilst he is here, we can write every season off because we don't have a 3 month spell and get anywhere.

He is mate. He;'s not getting sacked. Look at the table from a points compressed pov: one win and its midtable.

We're in the QFs of the LC too.

Not great, but the feller has had a terrible hand dealt him with Brands signings and the injuries.

Let's get it right we were awful today and spurs haven't won in abar 6 months away from home in the league, they was here for the taking today..

Horrible injury to gomes overshadows what was another awful performance.

Went wild at the end when cenk scored but hope that doesn't save him the chop

Some of our fans care only for prem survival - doesnt matter if we never qualify for europe, win a pot or even look like competing so long as they can have 3 EFC players in their fantasy team every season.

But the truth is we have lost five points from the last six due to VAR. Wins breed confidence and it is a fact we have now been denied two.
