I thought the same about his reaction last week. Reports stating that he was fuming but his response was weak and timid. Never mind Ferguson or Klopp, Moyes would have actually fumed and put far more pressure on the officials.

...I was giving you a ‘like’ but had to withdraw it when I fully read your final sentence. He’s certainly had no luck, but we’re losing games to teams we are still better than. We are better than teams in games yet lose them which is a concern.

I’m with you that he won’t be sacked, and I wouldn’t sack him myself but the team should be better organised to pick up more points than they have.

Criticism of Brands might be warranted for the lack of a Zouma replacement. I believe he was confident of getting Zouma or Tomori off Chelsea but was scuppered with the deadline day move of Villa. He clearly had no other option at that stage, other than a permanent deal for the Manchester United defender (which I think he was right to walk away from).

Regardless, Silva has a couple of big games coming up and I’d genuinely like it if he turned things around.

ive no problem with sacking him based om what he has shown so far. its the name of the game. my pt is only about the relegation fear nonsense.

in regards to sacking i only want it done when they have lined up a very good replacement....even if that replacent might also be a bit of a gamble (as are most managers within our reach). i dont want to see another temp appointment who by end of season will have done no better than what we have IMO.

I agree.

More so if/when we can get a far better quality replacement .

No it had a massive impact on the game We should have had a penalty for 1-1 and then played the last 15 against 10 men, could would and should have been an entirely different story.

I mean how can you send off the wrong guy for breaking someone's leg for God's sake.

The penalty decision was before the sending off, so how do you work that out. The game changes so who says they go down to 10 men after that

there was 70 mins of a nothing performance, one that didn’t even look like scoring. We played 20 mins against 10 men and barely laid a hand on them

Today I thought we played ok ish, but by far not good. Spurs were very poor to so that did help us look better. He now has lost another very important player, we have a very difficult December. Can we afford to keep giving him more time? quite ironic todays goal was by a striker he has frozen out, much like Niasse save Koeman for a few weeks after Koeman had frozen him out. The thing is it’s a squad sport, which until recent silva had only been using 12/13 players, bit of an improvement since he’s changed it a bit more, but to little to late imo. Do we want him in a relegation battle?

This is why a DoF role in a club is so madenning. You can easily see who's to blame without one. With one and it's debatable.

The football is awful and we're clueless. IMO the players are unadaptable and poor in ability and mentality. That is down to the man who buys them.

the players brought in are more than capable.

whether or not they buy into the system laid out in front of them is solely based on the genuine working relationship between the coach/his staff and the players.
