...and with his black arm band and his sexy wife wearing a bikini.
It annoys me that Blue Bill has some beef with Vitor. He would be the perfect man to take our team of brave lion hearts to glory in our gleaming new stadium beside the azure blue Mersey...by the way, how's the new stadium build going?...I imagine it's starting to look quite impressive.
Just waiting on the unicorns to mix the cement.

Honest question, is there any club operating with an "old school" set up where the manager is absolutely 100% responsible for the playing staff, coaching and transfers in the Premier League?

Probably not the old way but a fair few will still do the transfers.
I think it’s madness to have a manager pick the team and work with the players but not have the say on who actually comes in.
We know that Silva has no say because he told us he’d asked Brands for 5 players.

Well he has some say, I can't believe any manager would stick around if they had literally no input on who was in their playing staff. The idea that he would get absolutely everything he wanted if he was left to do it all himself seems a little out there as well.

The frighteneing thing for me is that they seem to want Silva AND STILL CANT PRODUCE.

I think that's a very bad sign for any incoming manager.

its truly frightening as I cant see anything happening and yet here we are 17th in the league and got this horrendous run which will 100% see us in the relegation spots come january

Very true Dave what you say. Me, I feel to have said enough and am giving up now on Silva, no more posts from me on this.
I dont think he can save himself now what with the injury situation. I'll be surprised if he does anyway.

Never let it be forgotten though that if he is sacked he should be walking down the road with the man who wasted cash by the shed load and handed him bang average players to put on the pitch.

IMO Brands will drag his feet on sacking Silva because he knows he also exposes himself at that point.

They all need the fire putting up to the soles of their feet now, from the board to the players. Should be no hiding places.

I agree though. As soon as Silva goes, it's spotlight time for Brands. The first season it seemed ok, if not positive for the incomings. He'd have to be a hypnotist to have got rid of some of our junk so he got a bit of a pass for that aspect. This season though, no striker ready to step up straight away and no centre back? Dreadful.

I believe he's sticking around for the money as they all do. Can't easily think of one who walked on principle.
