Holy moly.
He did, but he was young and the game was quite different. I just think his heavy focus on defence has been broken by the fact you cant tackle anymore and offside rules, a ball that goes like a bullet with a touch etc have changed the game in favour of attack (it keeps the tv people happy) Not saying he was not excellent, just think his expertise is in a time that has gone. He was like a big budget Moyes in the Prem and I dont think either suit today.
I loved great defending and dont think todays game is as good, but it is what it is

It will be like his first Title season at Chelsea, they played great flowing attacking footy, really think Jose will surprise many people.
It wont work straight away, think that Spurs dressing room is a mess atm, but next season, we will see a different Jose.
worrabout Jose is yesterdays man from a game that is no more....Even Drogba would not fit now and he was brilliant. Of the old fashioned centre forward types only Bob Latchford would be brilliant in any era.
