That Villa loss reversed would’ve had us with our best start to the season in years, but the past couple performances have made up for it.

We need minimal disruption from the international break and hopefully no injuries, especially to Keane and Mina.

Gbamin being out is a shame as he has more to his game than Morgan, but the squad fitness is great at the moment and will only help keep the team improving with the competition for places.

Joint 4th and we havent even put together a proper half of footy, just wait till we start motoring.

One slight criticism from yesterday is our game management. I don't get it at times. We had two mins extra time first half, we get a free kick on the half way line and decided to pass ourselves into conceding a corner. Surely it's better to throw the ball in their box? Also at 2-1 we made no attempt to get a 3rd and tried to slow the game down at every opportunity, was frustrating and imagine frustrating for Kean who was making runs. Only when we conceded again did we up our game.

everybody wants perfect game everytime.
3-0 win and zero chance created from opponents.
Not every game, but how many of those has Silva had since he has been here.

He concedes too many chances, then it's up to Pickford to make the save. You can't progress like that and just rely on the opposition missing there one on ones

He has shipped in loads of goals where ever he has been because he sends too many players forward.

He didn’t ship a load of goals at Estoril, Lisbon or Olympiacos. So basically he shipped a load with one of the poorest teams in the premier league and then with a Watford side that basically switched off once we had unsettled him.

He’s moving us forward, the defence is getting better, we are scoring more goals, the squad quality is increasing, fitness and injuries are better, squad mentality is slowly improving. I’m not sure what people reasonably expected him to do within the timeframe he’s had after he picked up a club in the mire after Koeman and Allardyce.

I thought Bernard for Iwobi should have happened sooner. And agree about that freekick.

How many clean sheets at home did we have until yesterday?

At hull he had Harry Maguire and Andy Robertson as half of his defense and still shipped loads of goals.

It's his style of play which means which is why away from home especially the results are so poor.
Even at home teams take it to us and create clear cut chances.

The tactics for the opposition are simple, get 10 men behind the ball and counter attack when the time is right, your likely to get a 2 on 2 or 3 on 3 at the back because we have too many players pushed forward

We’re unbeaten in 7 at Goodison with 6 wins on the spin and 6 of those 7 games as clean sheets. Those games have included 6 of last season’s top 9.
