We’ve got enough central height, but our full backs are both short by modern standards, Wolves second was an awful goal to give away.

Did notice on every throw that Wolves had that we had plenty of players in the area that the throw would land but at the far post (waiting for the flick on) it was 2 Everton players to 2 Wolves players which worried me. We should have had at least 1 more player on the far post for numerical advantage. Noticed that Gomes was marking Boly for the conceded goal but next time they had a free kick Gomes pushed Mina to mark Boly.

Jose made the point that if you plan to defend against Bennett's throws it's simple: he's not a Delap-distance thrower, and it comes to about the near post; Mina should have been positioned there with Boly to win it.

In terms of winning titles and CL I agree however in terms of competing for the top 4 and domestic trophies / Europa Leagues he's still one of the best managers in the game imo.

We have a weird obsession in the english media/game to label any manager over a certain age as past it yet hardly any young hipster manager (including Poch) has won anything near what the likes of Jose and Wenger have even in their "decline" years.

Wenger was hammered by the media in his final years but his Arsenal side still won trophies and played alot better than the current rabble under Emery.

Best way for me to describe it is you're sat in a bar chatting to a decent looking girl (Silva) she's nice and pleasant - you've had bad experiences in the recent past with blaggers (Brown Shoes) and cheats (Koeman) who've let you down so you just want a chilled and stable relationship (stability).

You get this burning feeling in your loins however that she's not quite the one - something about her thats missing something (in game management, poor away record).

Then you look over to the counter and see none other than Katie Price (Mourinho) - sat there sipping a Pornstar Martini, low cut skirt, baps out the lot. What is even going on? Silva is our manager and will be for the near future so may aswell accept it and enjoy it when we win, be annoyed when we lose and get on with it and stop waiting to criticise him at every opportunity whether we win lose or draw!
