Not good mate. The winds are battering the place which is spreading it. BY Tues night Wed morning 1am the winds should drop to 5km an hour at the moment they are at 40 to 45 kmh where I am. Fire fighters literally pissing in to the wind. Water planes trying to put out the central fires and exhausted fire fighters and a rake of volunteers trying their best on the outskirts xx Grim is the word. xxx

No mate told to stay but the emergency notifications come through on your phone telling you for each area .........so you don't get any sleep....... even though it's not your area you panic in case it is xx

Yes MATE 41 year old in custody last I heard but like I said in my above post not much news on that front from a few days ago as they are dealing with the fires x

Yes MATE 41 year old in custody last I heard but like I said in my above post not much news on that front from a few days ago as they are dealing with the fires x

I was in the middle of the Black Saturday fires here in Australia back in Feb 2009. The fires in the region I lived in were deliberately lit and ended up killing 11 people and destroying alot of houses and nearly some complete small towns. That was just my area and some other fires in the state were also deliberately lit with some caused by lightning and power lines.

Again tonight it was all about reassurance. Just finished '' Geds' Rubbish Quiz '' ...... it's a thing lads........ We had to finish it in candle light. The power is being cut off in each village at certain hours of the day. Guests complaining to me that they have paid for air con for a week but the power keeps going off and the water pressure has dropped in the shower FFS ALL Utilities are going to the affected areas. Sat here now drinking a vodka and Fanta orange on me own xxx
