Marouane Fellaini - The next Patrick Viera???

I'm alot more confident for the Derby now, if we can get Castillo and Fellaini gelled in and Cahill back to full fitness we'll be quite a powerful oufit which would certainly suit a derby game.

I've always thought we where too easily bullied in recent derbies, Neville and Carsley would usually get overrun and overpowered in the middle by the likes of Gerrard. Cahill, Castillo and Fellaini is a different matter all together. A good mixture of athletisism, strength and tenacity.

Oh you'd use Moutinho alright.

Personally I think Fellaini is [Poor language removed].....:dodgy:

You mentioned him a few weeks ago as someone we should look at didn't you? Him and another Belgium player.

He's not [Poor language removed], he's not worth 15 million either but he's definatly not [Poor language removed].

That's why I like Gattuso so much... that lad is just like a bull terrier... doesn't matter how big the opponent is, he's so tenacious...

Well i would of liked us to have brought in Moutinho for 20 and M'Bia for 10.

You get wrapped up in paper talk Cal, if this Fellaini turns out how as good as his supposed potential then we're sorted.

That M'Bia spouting all sorts of [Poor language removed] off in the media didnt do himself any favours. He sounded a bit of tit.

Yer i agree.

I'm defo more confident about this season now we have some proper midfielders.

It's a dead cert though that Neville will start in midfield and one out of Fellaini or Castillo will be on the bench at Stoke.

We played Phil Jagielka and Phil Neville in the centre midfield in the last home derby with Tony [Poor language removed] Hibbert at RB.

So good to see we're in a fairy tale again... at least until Moyes puts Fellaini playing as a center back, Castillo as a RB, and join Jagielka and Neville in the middle of the park.

I think so too, probably Castillo on the bench as he's been in South America. Fellaini has to play, you can't spend 15 million on him and play him on the bench.

Saying that though it could be Rodwell in midfield alongside Fellaini and Neville at right back. I thought Jack had a good game against Portsmouth.

If it was up to me I'd play both from the start, we need fresh faces to give us a boost. Castillo and Fellaini are also good in the air which would be useful against Stokes long throws and long balls in general.

Agreed. I like Rodwell, he just needs to get stuck in abit more and stop doing a Jagielka and jockey them.

I'd play both defo, surely with international games they will be fit and Castillo will have had a few days training before playing for Ecuador this weekend and Fellaini will be back in time for 2/3 days training.

I'm pretty sure Jacobsen will start at RB and Neville will be in midfield with Fellaini.

I'm looking forward to seeing Castillo, unknown, so will be good to see him. Hopefully they will/have impressed Moyesy enough to go with:

Castillo

Arteta Fellaini Osman

Cahill

You might say Cahill isnt fit but he came straight into the Larissa game after only having like a week or so of full training.

That's true, maybe Tim will get a game. Hopefully he can build his fitness up for the Derby, that's where we need him.

If he isn't ready Vaughan is always a good option, I'd love to see him up against Liverpool, I think he's perfect for Derby games. 2 games under his belt already aswell with the reserve game in midweek.

Vaughany hasn't played a Derby game has he?

Oh we need Cahill for the derby without a doubt, he [Poor language removed] hates the [Poor language removed].

No he hasn't. Hopefully he's ready for this one.(y)

We definatly need Tim, he loves to score against them. I think Saha is back for the Derby aswell, he'll also be a boost.
