i'm glad there's a feeling of fondness that is starting to gather momentum.
take cal for instance, it's like the fairly plain looking girl who you went to school with and nobody ever looked at, she's turned up in torremolinos, she's had her hair done and out of the baggy shape hiding school togs she used to wear, it turns out she's a bit of a fox. so you make a move and it turns out she's the best root you're ever likely to get , she can breathe through her ears and probably suck a grapefruit through a straw. the thing is you're home now and although you dont mind sneaking round giving her a bit of 'admiration' you dont quite feel ready to tell the lads yet. one step at a time cal, let the love build until it holds no bounds, then let a little out before you burst.
i have a feeling cal just "let a little bit out"

Brilliant.

I'd love him here, exactly what we need to be honest. Good footballer, strong, athletic and good in the air.

I can't see us getting him though, I don't see how Everton could get a big player in 24 hours, it would be a hard thing to do.

Fingers crossed though, anything can happen.(y)

If I was the club I'd go all out for this one, it's a key position that needs strengthening and he's a bloody good player with alot of potential. Plus he's 6ft 4, he has the height that we desperatly need.

Please sign him.:(

Just seen this thread after looking at our SEO rank and had to bump this.

Sorry Toccy mate (y)

That's fair, it was a case of a fan being desperate and wanting to see big signing at the club after a horrid summer for every Blue. And to be fair to Fellaini he did look good in the games he played against Liverpool, but I think we all know that.

Having watched him week in week out I've been dissapointed, especially when he's attempted to play in the middle of the park in the Premier League, the majority of time he looks like a fish out of water.

But in saying that he is a useful second striker and of late, as I've said to Goat, his performances have been promising and he's doing things I never thought I'd see.

He's never be the player alot of you think he'll be though, and yes Danny, Jack Rodwell is already lightyears ahead of him. And after watching him for a full season and a bit I'd happily sell him for 9 million, any day of the week.

In other Mo Fro news:

MAROUANE FELLAINI has been playing through the pain barrier at Everton this season – after throwing off his reputation for being a Premier League pain in the neck.

The distinctive Belgian (right) picked up his first booking of the season at Portsmouth last weekend – in his 10th appearance – compared to last season when he was booked five times in his first eight matches and finished with a dirty dozen yellow cards.

And boss David Moyes revealed

yesterday that Fellaini has been playing in considerable discomfort for the past month.

“He’s struggling just now,” said the Blues boss. “He’s due to have both his wisdom teeth taken out on Monday and he’s been playing with an infection for three weeks now.

“He’s done well for us. He’s been on antibiotics for three weeks and we asked him to just hang on.

“Sure there are bits of him which are disappointing at times, but there’s other bits when he has a big effect on games.

“I always said that this was probably going to be his hardest time. He made an impact in the Premier League and scored, what was it, 10 goals as a newcomer?

“But I always thought the second season might be harder.”

On his improved disciplinary record, Moyes added: “We’ve told him he didn’t want him in as much trouble, but he’s only 22.

“Marouane’s a Peter Crouch midfield player if you like. You can’t miss him. When you’re going for challenges and you’re trying to intercept things you’re always likely to run a risk.

“But I don’t think there’s any real malice in him and this is the point we made. I think referees are more used to seeing him now. He got things given against him quite a lot last year which I thought were unfair and I think he did as well.

“But I think he’s settled now and he’s maturing as a Premier League player.”

Fellaini’s presence is likely to be important against Stoke City’s notoriously direct approach at Goodison Park tomorrow.

Moyes will give late fitness tests to Joseph Yobo and Steven Pienaar, but Lucas Neill and Johnny Heitinga are both available to deputise at the back if required after being ineligible in midweek.

Louis Saha is also set to return after sitting out the midweek win in Belarus, while Jack Rodwell is expected to recover from a bout of illness increasing Moyes’ options even further.

Believe Toccy, Believe.

Point is, I think some need to get out of the rut of sticking by their anti Fellaini principle, so to speak.

Some need to get past his apparent languid style, his hair and mainly, his price tag. He's a big player for us, a player who will only get better.
