I guess your right, I mean a manager who keeps to a rigid formation for 3 years and doesnt try and change a losing style for 2 long seasons, despite it being clear to everybody that it isnt working, thats the type of manager we want.

Actually, I would congratulate a driver who responded to unforseen difficulties/obstacles (traffic snarl up, road works etc) by changing his route, thus circumnavigating such obstacles.
