I see all the bitterness of the weekend is being channeled in the direction of our PL points record breaking manager.
If only there wasn't that stubborn first season there to trip you up eh? If only the songs and School of Science banners hadn't been sung and displayed eh?
Ah well. There is every chance though that we can have a season like that again next season when another £80m will be added to the £72m already spent in RKs first season and he works his magic on it all.
Looking forward to it. 4th/5th and 73 points. And it's only just over 12 months away!

It's a bit unfair to judge Bobby on his first season. As we all agree, a manager cannot be judged objectively on a first season as it's not yet his team, it's an amalgam of the previous manager's and the new.
A wider body of work is really needed for a better analysis...say 3 seasons' performance ?

Roberto's just making the tea, Dave. A stuffed shirt who can babble platitudes to the media after Hazard, De Bruyne, and Witsel have done the real work of managing the team's performance. Most of us have probably experienced similar at work, where a charlatan boss appears from nowhere and everyone just inwardly grits their teeth and makes sure he's kept away from touching anything actually important. The argument was RM took over a team which finished 6th with 63 points. Good for a season which we expected 5th-7th then went for a free fall to 11th and 13th. Koeman actually took over a proven mid table team and improves it.
