Cant remember that. Still, even if I did, it doesn't invalidate his judgement of a player.Who you labelled a washed up alcoholic on here once a few years ago.

Oh, you;ve moved the goal posts.Yeah he said that 5 years before Martinez had hold of him and he'd been hawked around any club that would have him by Utd since Fergie said that, when it was clear he was not up to anything but bang average.
"he is one of the most sensational you are going to see in Premier League history". 2016 - Bobby "Clown Shoes" Martinez.
All hail to the Messiah.
On Niasse :
2/2/16 "Physically he can cope with the physicality of the Premier League. He doesn't need to adapt".
1/4/16 "the adaption period has been a bit longer than expected".

Actually he wasn't, he'd buggered his wrist, don't ask me how.Physically he was fine though to be fair...
Can you imagine Barca scoring 6 goals per game but conceding 8 and this being described as phenomenal.
He will probably win everything in his first season then get them relegated the next, but I guess that’s phenomenal lollollol
And neither has anyone else since 95Just a reminder that if you are defending Martinez time at Everton you are saying it is acceptable for Everton to be the same standard as West Ham and Newcastle. If you want Everton to win things again Martinez was not good enough for us.
No, if you defend Martinez's time here you are saying you want a football team that can get the required number of wins and points that hands us a chance of getting a CL place.Just a reminder that if you are defending Martinez time at Everton you are saying it is acceptable for Everton to be the same standard as West Ham and Newcastle. I wouldn't say any manager we've had since Royle has even approached ththe standard we should look for. Moyes gets a hat tip for steadying the ship but he never pushed us on from there and showed at United he couldn't have. The rest have been varying degrees of not good enough with Silva tbd.And neither has anyone else since 95
A chance of getting CL is a very West Ham level of ambition. But to each his own I guess. No, if you defend Martinez's time here you are saying you want a football team that can get the required number of wins and points that hands us a chance of getting a CL place.
Well, let's not set targets we cant reach. CL qualification would be a huge leap forward.A chance of getting CL is a very West Ham level of ambition. But to each his own I guess.

but not the requisite position in the league to achieve CL...No, if you defend Martinez's time here you are saying you want a football team that can get the required number of wins and points that hands us a chance of getting a CL place.
It's Dave, don't trust him to have a steady opinion on anything other than Martinez being god and Phil Jagielka being the Antichrist. lol
It's the done thing in Everton circles to say every crap manager we have is as bad as Walker, if not worse. Martinez, Koeman and even Silva have been compared to him. Martinez at least gave us one decent season, one OK one and a good cup run in his crap season.
