And that's one of the less insane ramblings he came out with. The guy chats so much bubbles that he started to believe the garbage he came out with. As far as I'm concerned £10million to be rid of that albatross is starvation cheep!

How many fans bought into it though mate?

It took until the end of March for a lot of fans to then realise what he was saying was talking out his arse.

Well more fool them mate. It was perfectly obvious by Dec 2014 that he was clueless and chatting bubbles. Lots of people just let their hatred of Moyes blind them to the obvious. Not all of us were fooled by him but anyone who argued against the sheep mentality was dubbed a plotter. Thank God everyone finally woke up to see what a fraud he was before it was to late!

That level of devotion and down right fanaticism in relation to Martinez was worse than anything else in the history of this forum

I hope we never get that way with a manager ever again

It was almost Kopite like at one point wasn't it?! I say almost because even at its worst they were rank amateurs compared to that cult over the park. It got to the stage were ANYONE who dared to even questioned Martinez was shouted down and called all sorts. Ridiculous really that grown adults would let themselves be so blindly devoted to any manager.

Even the gentlest of criticism led to unbridled attacks, the like of which such venom has rarely been seen on GOT

We must never allow something like that to happen again on here. No manager should ever be considered infallible or beyond criticism

I'm convinced this is why so many people now hate on Martinez as much as they do

For so long you couldn't say anything about him, and people were forced to store it all up, so when he finally went all the negativity just exploded

Ultimately, the fiercest defenders of Martinez are the ones who are most to blame for the way he is now treated by some of the fan base. They banged the drum and stoked the flames so much, that it was only ever going to end the way it did. It really is on their heads
 
Nothing against Roberto but i'm still baffled by the appointment of him as national coach.

Belgian FA have made alot of good decisions the last 10-15 years revamping their grassroots football in the country which has produced a golden generation of talent.

This team is on the cusp of greatness internationally similar to what Spain were in 2008,as they showed in the Euros and world cup the team/squad is full of talent but Wilmots the coach was the one holding them back as tactically he was naive,seems the Belgian FA have chosen another manager who will not get the best out of them,they should have gone for Pellegrini who would be amazing working with that attacking talent they possess.

to be honest mate, this place has gone a bit rawk in general to anyone questioning anything.

Like sapies nothing has changed thread. first reaction, laughed as i got the irony in the thread, 6 weeks later, was a spot on assessment so to speak.

but yeah, it seems anyone with any sort of opposite opinion to the general gets shot down by the mob. More so evident with people thinking the club were not going to spend money this summer...
