It took a significant deflection, yes. His goal scoring (and range of goals) are beyond question though at all levels.

I think what Martinez will do at Belgium is set up the team more around Lukaku as he did here. That should bring his goal per game ratio for his country (almost 1:4) up to his Everton goals per game ratio (just less than 1:2) and that has to increase his value.
