We gurnned for years because we needed a 20 goal a season and when we get one we gurn because he isn't good enough. Everton that.
We wanted a 20 goal a season striker and got the only one who controls balls farther than a cannon.

I'm not. But if he is sold all his international goals and domestic goals will add to the value. Why are you so eager to sell him David?
I'm glad you're back Prev...I always enjoy your postsWe wanted a 20 goal a season striker and got the only one who controls balls farther than a cannon.
You don't still think he's a good manager do you Dave?, come on, nothing wrong in admitting you held too much faith in him, I hoped he'd come good upto Xmas last year.Roberto @ Moscow 2018.

He's a championship manager at best.
Give over Dave, he's friggin useless, the state he left our team and club in.Created the modern Swansea
FA Cup winner
Everton record holder
Manager of the second ranked team in world football....
....however could I continue to think Roberto is a good manager? It's a real puzzler isn't it?

Everton record holder?, do me a favour, was you in a coma for his last two seasons?
The last two seasons had periods of excellent play. There's no "past two seasons" as if they were an unmitigated and unbroken block of terrible performances. That's just caricature.
Roberto had to go. No question. he lost control of the players and because of that he lost the fans. But that is not the same as saying he is a terrible manager, as I've highlighted from his career.
Let's see how near any future Everton team gets to that first season level of performance and results. I have a feeling we'll be looking back on 21 wins out of 38 games with some awe for years to come.
He fluked an F.A cup Dave, it happens, plenty average teams win a cup now and again, magic of the cup and all that. The last two seasons had periods of excellent play. There's no "past two seasons" as if they were an unmitigated and unbroken block of terrible performances. That's just caricature.

No mate. We only ever got more than 72 points three times in our whole history - and they were when there was 42 games played in a season (all in the 80s with three points for a win, btw) not 38 games.Points dont matter.
72 points is a lot, but and I really cant be bothered to check, but im pretty sure we have won the league in the past with less than 72 points, im 100% certain many clubs have won Titles with less than 72 points, points dont matter, only your league placing matters, its the nature of a league system.
Martinez finished 5th, thats not record breaking, we have finished 5th loads of times, we have also got more than 72 points on numerous occasions, the only record the utter clown broke was boring the arse off a fanbase for 24months.

It was a stunning effort using the players he'd just been introduced to.
Just recognise it as such and dont be so churlish.
Yeah mate: fluked building a whole football club up from its ground zero; fluked an FA Cup win with a pub team against the financially doped City; fluked our best ever season over the course of 38 games; fluked his way into a top international job.He fluked an F.A cup Dave, it happens, plenty average teams win a cup now and again, magic of the cup and all that.
One good season in the Prem, with a Moyes team, simple as, it was a massive steep decline after that.
Woy won all his qualifiers, give the Belgium players time to get on the lemon drizzle cakes.
He's landed on his feet though, he has a fantastic group of players who have massively underachieved, at least all of them are are top clubs getting schooled by good managers week in week out, that should negate the brown shoes effect a bit.
I can't believe you still rate him Dave, it's rather strange because you aren't an idiot.Yeah mate: fluked building a whole football club up from its ground zero; fluked an FA Cup win with a pub team against the financially doped City; fluked our best ever season over the course of 38 games; fluked his way into a top international job.
What a fluke eh?
It's spot on.Its not record breaking then is it?
And I wish I could be bothered checking your unreal claim.
But considering it was 2 points for a win back in the day it doesnt really matter.
9 League Titles.
It's because I dont join in with a hysterical mob who have lost all reason and are led by the nose by the Echo.I can't believe you still rate him Dave, it's rather strange because you aren't an idiot.
Built a club in the lower leagues, got found out big time at top club level.
