That was Woy Hodgson's qualifying record with England and look how wonderful that turned out to be. Point being I would expect you or I to be able to manage a world class team through qualifying by saying 'go out and enjoy yourself'. Whole different ball game when it comes to knock out football.

Not saying he won't do well, just saying far too early for any meaningful praise.

He's found his level managing a side to beat Gibraltar, Estonia and Cyprus, the massive sweet talking fraud.
 

He'll get them to the Quarter Finals at the very least, where they'll probably get skelped by Germany/Spain/Italy

He'll then probably take over at Athletic Bilbao or Real Betis, or maybe even Espanyol, and have good Copa Del Ray runs while finishing 12th in La Liga every season
 
An average of over 5 goals per game in this group so far. No wonder Lukaku cant wait to get back to Belgium for a game.

Under Wilmots.

I think RM will see them through to the WC and, depending on the group they get, the KO stages, then move back into club management.

It's early days, but they've almost reached the halfway point of qualifying and they've battered everyone they've met and seem to be enjoying the style of football they've been asked to play.
