I hope he can improve and perform well. Our defence lacks pace and these days most sides play with quick agile frontmen. Jags and Keane are like tugboats racing against speed boats.
 
Kirkbride at the Echo says it is achilles tendon problems, which is nasty as there are not many blood vessels in an achilles and it takes a long time to heal (he says, having snapped his a few years back).

ffs this is just our luck when we have two bozo's in defence right now.

Not at all just the longer he's injured the longer we have to play absolute donkeys at the back
