Hopefully Mina will be fit for the Arsenal game. The lad needs a spell in the u23s. A performance like that could ruin a player’s conference.

Shoving him back to youth football won’t do his confidence any good either mate.

Needs hooking after today Keane or Mina in. I don't think the high line is helping anyone but he's just not physical or assertive enough.

Reminds me of stones really early on in his efc career when he used to get bullied off the ball. Hes got all the attributes to be a very good centre back hes just a bit too easy to move him where you want him. I'd certainly rather we keep him in than give jagielka minutes. Minas clearly going to take one of the two cb spots, we didn't pay 35 odd mill for him to play for the ressies

I'd seriously think about converting to right back if I was Holgate. No chance he is making it as a CB.

The mistakes don't concern me half as much as the lack of evidence that he has anything exceptional to bring to the table in years to come.

He gets bullied and that's the issue. Big attackers simply pin him and the other CB is left to cover.

I don't think Stones ever got bullied, though. He hardly gave the opposition attackers a chance to do so.

People easily forget just how good Stones was.

Needs bulking up but stylistically is a CB that should work well under Silva once he gets the experience needed to improve.

Hopefully, Mina can be a leader at the back and marshall the defence but I doubt it with the language barrier.

Na. Still a better bet at CB than RB for me. He doesn't have the pace or ingenuity for a full back role imo.
