He's had a bad season.

I don't think he's a bit part player, needs continuity/momentum.

We were almost completely overrun in midfield so that was always going to put pressure on our defence .
I find it difficult to blame any of the back four

It was the quietest game from Doucoure in ages, probably tired from midweek.
Gomes was awful again. He just cannot accept responsibility and be the main man but can be good alongside somebody like Allan.
Sigurdsson although further forward never got into the game and we all know he has no pace anyway.
JR is not a ball winning midfielder and when our midfield is beaten then he is lost
Davies, I thought was the best of our midfielders and can only imagine he was the first off because they thought his energy levels would drop after his midweek exertions.
Richarlison never had a chance tonight.

I thought all three substitutions improved things a little which would not be hard.

Needs putting on the bench not looked good for a few games now.

He's what we hoped JJK would become, a half decent back up RB.
He's not good enough to be a starter at either RB or CB but not bad if we need cover for a few games every season.

His passing is awful and is often just backwards. Nowhere near as good as Mina or Keane as CB and not gonna improve us as a RB.
Not knee-jerk have never seen him as more than cover

Yep, no desire at all to move the ball forward. He receives the ball then plays it back to the player who gave it to him 99.9%of the time. Always a backward or sideways pass. Last season I really did think we had a player in there. Right now he’s our worst player

I'm no psychologist but I think it's the opposite. He's trying to keep his confidence up because he's not playing well. Clearly it's not working and he needs to go back to basics.

Good player but severely lacking in positive decision making, especially when it comes to passing.
