He'd had a good season, after a decent spell on loan at West Brom. We were looking at keeping him over what ought to have been the peak of his career. He hasn't developed and seems to have lost all confidence in himself, which is death for any defender, particularly one playing behind our midfield at the moment. Needs an arm around his shoulder and a bit of stability. We know the talent and potential is/was there. Not one of the first we would need to replace - reckon he needs an arm around his shoulders, some stability around him to get him back to where we thought he might be. I veer between hating the players and feeling sorry for some of them tbh.
Yes, would never shout at or abuse any player at a match and on a public platform like Twitter and Instagram, these sort of sites are good to have a moan on as you know (hope) players don't see it.

id argue keane and holgate are both as bad as each other now, though maybe at the start of the season under benitez keane was a little better.
Id play branthwaite over them at the moment because he can't be any worse. Keane gets dragged out wide, holgate comes over to fill in the space.
He's higher up the pitch by design. he's bringing it up from the back. We give the opponents too much space in our half of the pitch.

Tough balance, at the point they offered him a new contract can see why they did, trying to protect value and if he continues his good form and improvement can command a big fee. He hasn’t developed, in fact the last two seasons has gone backwards. Two seasons going backwards isn’t okay, a move in the summer suits everyone - he needs a fresh start.

Keane is far, far, far better centre back than holgate. It’s not even close.
Don’t want either of them starting at centre back next year mind.

It doesn't really matter how good they can be, and sometimes they can, when they make so many individual errors and continuously give the ball away cheaply.
We need a new back line don't we need warriors at the back.

he does come across as arrogant tbh , he annoyed me as the second half was about to start on Sunday . He came over to the away end trying to get us to get behind the team and gee us up . that would be all fair and well if the team had actually put in a performance for us to get behind in the first half , i can’t stand him .
