60k a week, wow our club is clueless

No surprise if he's on £60k-odd a week. Utterly unreal salary that he's never once justified. Did somebody at the club think just because he also came him Barnsley he's going to be the next John Stones? Expect no other club to even offer to pay 50%. Probably 30% with us topping up the rest for the next two years. He's not going to drop his wages either way so either we get a nominal fee and are paying him for the next two years, or he's loaned and we're paying most of his wage.

Well they stating his salary at 72 grand so no Championship matching anything near that, the clubs getting parachute payments may pay him 30 but the rest he would be lucky to get 20 so you about right with the 30%

He hasn’t helped himself with some very badly timed reckless challenges, mistakes and general gum chewing, but also had minor injuries when there was a chance for a run of games.

Deserves to play somewhere. Good luck to him. As always, he didn’t write his own contract. Not his fault.
