Already better than Galloway.

Galloway is very good too. Both of them could forge careers here.

Foulds looks promising too.

We extensively scout the lower leagues looking for gems. The best club sides of the past in this country where formed that way.

Just because SKY want clubs to pay a billion a week to 35yr olds like Zlat, does not mean that is the path to success.

sidenote, Zlatan looked nothing special
he clearly didn't like being marked tightly

He had a good game tonight. Never overawed or intimidated and showed good awareness and pace when needed. Looking forward to seeing him develop.

can't wait for the giant peadostached man bunned tosser to get a good kicking off a grocky side

I doubt he will play much. He was purchased to sell shirts. They shifted tons to gullible foreign fans so job done. He will probably score the odd goal v Hull.

That is what is wrong with the game now. The media complain about the national side and then talk up old, overpaid foreign players. As soon as a talented youngster comes along they blow them out of proportion, demand that they move to Manchester, London, and then belittle them 12 months later when they flop.

I hope our promising youngsters stick together and form a superb TEAM.

The sad thing is when we do develop talented youngsters, the media bang on about the need for them to leave Everton to develop!!!! See Rooney, Rodwell, stones, Barkley etc.

He's very much in the mould of Stones but seems to be a bit more there for natural defensive instinct and not overly taking risks despite being composed on the ball. Didn't look out of place today and handled almost any opposition player that came up against him.

Lost his way a bit towards the end of the first half but was very good again for the brief spell in the 2nd and even had to save Stones' blushes at one point with great awareness to cover the danger.

Would probably say with the uncertainty around Stones and the fact we are still yet to see Jags much he's probably pushed himself to 3rd choice CB on the right side and hopefully will get a few chances this season, liked the look of him and Coleman working together down the right aswell, few times Coleman did go a bit too far Holgate was always there to provide cover and Coleman helped him through the game aswell.

not surprised. according to Barnsley supporters who visited here, he was the next Stones. Need to infect him with the Blue Flu now so his head won't be turned as easily.
