Our poor defensive showings of late have been more to do about the lack of pace (ball on the floor) as opposed to the ball in the air. Holgate is better on the ball than Williams and jags, but his pace allows us to play slightly higher up the pitch also.

I think his class is fairly overarching. The Italian league isn't exactly La Liga in terms of style like

Not according to soccer base, he's 6 foot 1 inches tall, Jagielka and Williams are both 6ft. That looks right to me seeing him at the match next to them.

Where are you getting that from? As I said soccer base has him as 6ft 1 inch, just looked and Premier League has him at 6ft. When I've seen him live he looks slightly taller than Jagielka.

Whether he's an inch taller or shorter than Jagielka doesn't concern me tbh, what concerns me is that he's 5x the player and Jagielka is League 1 standard.
